“My favorite Thai restaurant currently in the greater Hartford area. The food reminds me of my mom's cooking. I make the trip from Hartford To New Britain whenever I want a piece of home. This small quaint restaurant packs a punch and doesn't hold back on flavor. While some places water down the flavor to cater to a broader audience Mai (the owner) chefs it up as if she is in her home kitchen cooking for family. You taste the loving in her cooking. There is limited seating but when you get the chance order a few dishes with friends or family and share the meal Thai style. You can always order in advance and pick up or utilize a delivery service. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Mai (pronounced May) and tell her Ty sent you. She will make sure you're taken care of.“

“I wanted to visit my ex coworker Zach @ J Gilberts and maybe get a Burger cuz that's what I had my only time there and its one of the best burgers I've ever had. Plus I didnt want to go too crazy. But when I got there Zach told me about the 16Oz Dry Aged Kansas City Strip Steak Special that they had. I decided to go all out cuz I wantedto see if their steaks measured up to their reputation. Zach recommended a Pinot Noir from Washington that was a perfect pairing for the steak. I gotta say the green beans that I had with a jam and crumbled pecans were insanely good with the garlic mashed potatoes. AND the steak had a nice charred exterior with a perfect juicy medium rare interior. I decided to treat myself and if you are ever thinking of doing the same go to J Gilberts and ask for Zach....you won't be disappointed....you will have one of your best restaurant experiences of your life!“

“Solid food and great atmosphere. The fish really was cooked beautifully and the staff was top notch. Yummy fish and chips.Today we had a couple of apps and they were quite tasty. Calamari was really solid and my buddy got the Buffalo shrimp. They had a special swordfish entree with Lobster risotto and it was really quite tasty. Solid work per usual.Delicious clam soup and salmon dish. The spetzel (sp) was fun and unexpected. Also decent pours for your gin on the rocks. Bombay would be proud. A little heavier handed would be appreciated but better than many places. The burger looked great and the chicken parm was large and tasty. Some of my buddies shared some bites at today's group lunch“

“Went here for dinner and had a very nice time. The food was great and so was the service. I'll definitely go back again!Parking: Google maps took me only to the entrance of the golf club. The restaurant is beyond that, up a well-lit driveway with a large parking area at the top.“

“I've been to other Capital Grille locations; decided to try this one. Visited on a Saturday evening. Ordered wedge salad and clam chowder as an appetizer. Both were good and consistent with food I've ordered at other locations. Dinner was tenderloin with lobster and seared tuna. Both were cooked well. Potatoes au gratin were quite good. Service I felt was average; dessert took quite a long time to come out unfortunately. Atmosphere is consistent among locations generally and this one was enjoyable and no different. Overall, this location was good and I would return.“

“Highly recommend! My husband and I come here about every other week. Every time it taste wonderful! We always get the chili chicken (appetizer), paneer butter masala, naan, and samosas. They are always prompt on when the food will be ready as well which we appreciate. This has been the best Indian restaurant we have found in the area and all of the staff there is very nice and helpful.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian friendly“
“I had been wanting to try Coracora for years and finally had the chance. The empanadas were the best I've ever had - delicious fillings, but a dough like the most amazing light pie crust. Creative, authentic menu, beautiful decor, reasonable prices, excellent service -- all came together for an exceptional night out.“

“Same owner as the former Ming Dynasty in Rocky Hill. The food is great quality. Most Chinese takeouts can be bland and greasy, but the food here is flavorful and clean. The prices are affordable, and best of all, the owner and staff are super sweet. Highly recommend Ming Garden!“

“How is it possible? This place can serve me a wonderful chicken piccata dinner with salad and bread for $21 and a glass of house wine for six dollars? Excellent food service and atmosphere. Plus a live rendition of love is in the air. Wonderful service food and prices make this place a grand slam. Support this business.“

“Good place for lobster, clams and other seafood. Small restaurant, does have outdoor seating. I had the lunch of whole belly fried clams. I was very satisfied. My companions had the lobster tots (for lunch a very large portion), and the lobster roll. Both were happy with their choices. We also had the Rhode Island clam chowder. Tasted good, but the soup could have been hotter. All in all, a good experience.“

“Super-clean diner with easy on-off access to the major highways in Meriden. Got a special omelette with ham & tomato mixed into the fresh eggs, mozzarella inside. Delicious! Plentiful home fries fresh off the griddle slightly browned. Toast perfect and coffee really good. Clean bathroom. Very reasonable prices. Check them out you'll be very happy you did!“

“Family style bar and restaurant. I've had a thick juicy cheeseburger and the fish and chips. Both dishes were nice large portions of flavorful and fresh tasting and well seasoned food. The place is friendly and well appointed. Prices are reasonable and service is great. The patrons are having fun socializing with each other. There are even families, but no young children. They are a mix of young and old. People are dressed in casual work clothes.“

“Four friends enjoyed a great dining experience at Portobello West Hartford. The manager and staff were very welcoming, and we found the restaurant comfortable and quiet enough for conversation. Drinks, salads and entrees were all good. Generous portions. Recommend the Veal Portobello, clams, lasagna -- delicious and attractively presented.“

“We were travelling back home (a couple of hours) and drove about an hour out of our way to pass by and pick up the Birkin Bag, we drove another 2 hours home and enjoyed the meal very much. I would suggest anyone passing by, even if it's out of your way to make the stop, very nice place and great food! Wish you guys were closer to Jersey, maybe on our next trip eastwards.“

“I’ve been here several times as I live within walking distance and I have enjoyed the food. However, one visit I had on a Friday night 6 months ago left my friend and I very unhappy. She had been in town from the West coast and being from here she wanted a lobster roll before leaving the next day. We arrived at 8:45 and this place closes at 9, even on the weekends. But we were fine with getting everything to go. Unfortunately we were turned away because the woman behind the counter said “they had already turned everything off”…whatever that meant. As if everything couldn’t be turned back on?The place wasn’t empty, there were several other people dining there still when we walked in. I understand we got there “late” but I saw no reason why they couldn’t make our order to go with 15 minutes to spare before closing. Their priorities were very clear that serving a customer was less important than going home. If you say you’re open until 9, then be open until 9. Period. My friend was very disappointed and I was quite upset. I had no plan to return but I had family who came to visit 3 months later who wanted to try the place and they were pleased with the food as well. But I haven’t been back since and I’m not sure I will be. In the end I think we were being guided to something better as we tried a restaurant that I have been wanting to try for awhile in Wallingford and we had a great dining experience there so all was not lost. So if you are looking for some decent seafood it’s worth visiting but beware if you get there too late as they will think nothing of turning you away.“

“Nice atmosphere not like others which can be quite loud. The owner is the host and waiter and was so helpful. For the 2 of us, we had the hot pot combo plus 1 added hot pot and it was enough. They tend to be light on the protein servings but you can add more. It was less than $70 for dinner for 2 plus 1 additional side, 1 alcoholic beverage each and an appetizer. Very affordable. Will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: Highly customizable for all restrictions.“

“Service was amazing, beyond polite, the presentation of the food was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen in my life. The 24k tomahawk steak was to die for, all 3 sides tasted amazing, they also went off menu to accommodate me for a side. 10/10 everything.“

“My first visit to this restaurant was a delightful surprise orchestrated by my husband for my birthday. We were seated upstairs, but upon exploring downstairs to the tavern area, we immediately decided that our next visit would definitely be spent there. Recently, I organized a girls' night out and made a reservation for the tavern, and it exceeded all expectations. The evening kicked off with a perfectly crafted dirty martini that set the tone for what was to come. The wine selection by the glass offered an array of choices, which was greatly appreciated. Our meal selections were varied yet equally impressive: I opted for the salmon with risotto, Rachel savored their chicken dish, Danielle indulged in the burger, while Dev enjoyed the flatbread. Our appetizer of Brussels sprouts was nothing short of exquisite.Throughout the evening, our waiter provided impeccable service, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. I couldn't help but express to him that if the restaurant were closer than 25 minutes away, it would undoubtedly become our regular haunt. He was consistently attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and always being a few steps ahead of us.Overall, our experience at this restaurant, particularly in the tavern, was nothing short of spectacular. From the drinks to the cuisine to the exceptional service, it left a lasting impression, making it a place we'll eagerly return to whenever the opportunity arises.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this food truck and the wonderful people that run it! Owners are sweet, kind and caring. I had the lobster roll and clam strip roll. My boyfriend had the spicy fries and fried pickles (he’s vegan). The lobster roll was out of this world! So delicious, warm and buttery! I was amazed at how much lobster meat they included! Clam strip roll was pretty delicious and the sides my boyfriend ordered were so yummy! Cannot wait to try the lobster grilled cheese next time. Thank you Lobster Tales for a wonderful experience! Do yourself a favor and try them out! You won’t regret it!UPDATE: I tried the Lobster Grilled Cheese and wow! Wow, wow, wow! What a blessing for my taste buds! They are geniuses! Years and plenty of trips later, I stand true to my word! The food is incredible, the staff is kind and it’s an experience you won’t forget!! You’re probably thinking, it’s just a food truck, it’s not a big deal. It IS a big deal! Not only are you blessed with delicious lobster rolls that are overflowing with lobster meat along with delicious sides and yummy soda, you are also met with the kindest owners and staff who treat you like family and like one of their own! I even had a chance to talk to the owner because she decided to take time out of her day to approach me and thank me for the kind words that I had mentioned as I grabbed my food. How often do you get that?? I am and will forever be a Lobster Tales food truck fan and have been telling everyone I know about them! They truly are too good to be true! I’m just so grateful to have experienced their kindness and enjoyed their ridiculously delicious food! They are worth the drive! Please try them out! ❤️ ❤️Btw, I have driven across state lines and have taken long trips JUST to enjoy their food. They are THAT good! You won’t regret it! “I have ordered both in and had food delivered. I love the food. I’m partial to the salmon, shrimp pasta and the j*** chicken pasta. That is also the three things I have tried from them. I first ordered the $5 plates to try them and have not stopped going since. It’s not your typical pasta. I love the combination of flavors and the subtle punch. I get tired of food easily but Ravi’s has definitely added some variety. I have recommended them to my family and friends. Love supporting a small business in our community. Pray prosperity over them.“

“I only recently learned that this tapas bar existed in Middletown’s Main Street Market, and I’m so glad that I visited! They had a huge menu with choices to fit anyone’s preferences. Highlights for us were the paella, croquettes, and even the Brussels salad because it had such a great truffle flavor! Their drinks were fantastic - we’re still talking about the Barbie one we had in a unique glass! Definitely save room for the delicious chocolate strawberry cake for dessert. Loved the ambiance, and our server was professional and attentive!“

“La comida excelente todo con un sabor único. Lo único que me quejo es que pedi una bolsa para llevarme lo que no me comí y la mesera me dice que se le acabaron. Sin embargo le compré otra orden para llevar y si tenía bolsa. Cosas pequeñas que dañan la reputación de un buen negocio. El servicio al cliente es más importante que la calidad de la comida.“

“DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS PLACE! If you’re thinking about going here, don’t think, just go! The food was absolutely delicious. The lobster cake special and salmon special were amazing. The shrimp scampi had the most juicy and flavorful shrimp I’ve ever had. The bread and clam chowder were great. We got a massive salad with our entree and they sent us home with a fruit basket!! Our server was friendly and the service was at a great pace. The atmosphere had very cozy vibes. This will be our go-to seafood spot and could be yours too!“
