“You standard dunkin. Since the remodel and new hires, I have grown to love this location. They haven't once messed up my orders and are always so kind to me. Also, some people could learn a lesson that being friendly and kind to your local workers, they will remember you and always smile to you.“
“I've been getting my coffee from Deep River Roasters for years now, I used to roast my own or have it shipped from assorted roasters around the country. As a pretty big "coffee geek", I can say after trying everyone in CT that I have found, and quite a few places overseas, that there is no place I would rather get my coffee from. You're not going to find anyone around here with fresher roasted beans, or more care put into them. Fantastic coffee and fantastic people, who will certainly go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your coffee. Do yourself a favor and go now! Unless you're too far away, then check their website, because they also ship their beans!Parking: Huge parking lot at the Witch Hazel Works building.“

“Great vibe, friendly staff, and amazing beverages. I had a frozen green drink - can't remember what it was called, but it was a frozen coffee drink in honor of St Patrick's day. They have lots to choose from and comfortable places to sit. I saw some crocheters there, so it's fiber friendly too!“

“In the charming downtown of Essex, CT is a little coffee shop located across the street from the historic Griswold Inn.The coffee quality is exceptional here. With beans from local coffee roasters you really can’t ask for more. The staff are very accommodating, and the cafe clean. This spot is truly a hidden gem if you haven’t discovered it yet, I’d recommend moving it to the top of your list!“
“Go...taste some of the best cheese selections this side of the Atlantic . Let the wonderful owners suggest something , but don't stop there...browse the chocolates and pastas, the jams and ready to bake pies, ice cream and so much more...like sourdough and baguetts. It is a Hidden gem .“

“We LOVE Olive Oyl’s. In the 20 years we’ve lived in Tri-town, it’s our family go to at least once on the weekends. When the kids are home for school breaks throughout the year they frequent Olive Oyl’s several times a week. We love the vibe, the food, location, and especially Kevin and Jen! We are lucky to have such a great place so close to home!“

“I've tried multiple different types of coffees from this location. All have been delicious. Tried the bulletproof coffee our of sheer curiosity and it's now my favorite. Prices are fair compared to other coffee chains. For food I highly recommend anything on a bagel. The everything bagels in particular are some of the best I've had around here. My other favorites are the orange/ cranberry muffin and the Memphis toast. They offer unique food items you don't see at other chains. Plus there's ample seating with places to charge your devices and free visitor wifi. There is also patio seating for nice days.“
“Whenever I come to Clinton for a weekend I ALWAYS stop by this Starbucks. I’ve frequented many starbucks locations throughout CT and NYC and this one by far has the best quality drinks, food, and all of the workers are so so kind. Not to mention, my 3 dogs love love love hopping in the car to go to the drive through. They absolutely adore the attention they get from the female workers and the delicious pup cups from the ladies in addition to the scones I order for them. I literally say ‘we’re going to starbucks to see your friends!’ And they all race to the car haha. If my opinion on this location doesn’t do justice, understand that there are no better judges of character than dogs ?Here’s them waiting in the drive through haha- Much love from Kirsten, Mojo (blonde), Chuck (red), and Bly (black) ❤️“

“This Starbucks is a lot better than the one in the Buckland plaza in terms of parking and drive-thru. It's still pretty busy and you have to wait, but not AS busy as the other one. If you order about 10-15 minutes ahead, it'll usually be ready. There's not a lot of places to sit in this one, so I usually just grab and go. The staff are very friendly - just be prepared to wait because they can get overwhelmed by the amount of orders coming in.“

“I've never seen a drive-thru, only Dunkin' Donuts. So this was a first. I had to drive around the building to confirm I wasn't imagining it. I was quite surprised, but I guess it makes sense. There was no line or waiting while I was there, and the service was good. If you're in a hurry, then this might be perfect for you.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeledDietary restrictions: Menu is clearParking: Not many as its drive thru onlyKid-friendliness: Only if they're in the car.
