“Started off with the calamari, which was heavily battered but the calamari was tender and they had a lemony tarter sauce to dip it in. I had an everything burger which was charred grilled and delicious with sweet potato fries, and my wife had the quiche with a garden salad that she enjoyed immensely.“

“Excellent all around. We started off with local beer on tap and a plate of aranci. Chicken trombette and steak neo with afresh greens and balsam side salad were perfect. Finished with an espresso and ordered a hot cheese pie to go. Cozy, clean environment. Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Quality of food and quantity of food was very reasonable. “Our first visit to the Taconic Wayside Inn, An absolute pleasure! Our appetizers were amazing! Mozzarella sticks and Garlic Parmesan wings were absolutely cooked perfectly!We also had the Chicken Parmigiana and the Scallop Nantucket… both also prepared with love and perfection.Our waitress was attentive and extremely friendly. It was wonderful that her daughter worked alongside her as well. “Really nice atmosphere when you walk in, the waitress was very attentive and kind. The food was the best part, me and my gf ordered the chicken sandwich and it was great. Been awhile since we've had a really good chicken sandwich that wasn't greasy or oversized to the point that it overtakes the other toppings on the sandwich. If this place wasn't so far from Hartford I'd be going here more often.“
