“Chicken fingers and boneless spare ribs are awesome. The crab rangoons and general tsos chicken were great. The beef teriyaki was good but only tried 1 piece. The fried rice is the best fried rice around. Been coming here for 4 years, and it's always delightful.“

“I think I had heaq heard it was sold to another family or another part of the family that used to run it. I have to say the food seems a little different. It's not quite the same taste that it used to be, I still taste pretty good I have noticed people saying that the pizza is different, it is slightly different but same style. The prices have increased quite significantly. With that being said I probably won't go there as often but that's okay overall it's pretty similar to what it used to be and I think that's a good thing. At least the place isn't closed down and they are keeping or at least trying to keep to the style that it always was!“

“CRAB RAGOON LOVERS COME HERE!First time getting take out, so happy. Every dish I got was much better than any Chinese food I’ve had within my 20 mile radius! I was especially happy with the crab Rangoon’s, the size of the breading wasn’t overwhelming, the quantity, and quality of everything was to my satisfaction. I also got the pork steam dumplings, fantail shrimp( great crunchy breading not doughy) and the pork lo mein was just superb. My spouse got the general Tsos and was just as pleased and his interaction was very sweet. The women actually called to let us know when our food was done and ready :)Found my new go too spot!“

“Tonight was my first time to this place and l am shocked. I can imagine how any business owner can treat his clients, but not in the way I experienced the owner of this place .. the passion on his face as he was demonstrating his food qualities was unexpected. As a meat lover who was born in restaurants business family is hard to please.. this guy did it .. I was eating my 14 oz rebeye and praying not to finish . Every bite from that sucker I have story to tell .The entertainment that I had experienced in this place was extraordinary, I would never stop visiting him every time I want to taste something imaginary and legendary.Thank you for quality and generosity!“

“Wow! Wow! Wow! This is like a hidden gem! I finally got around to getting my mom from FL to join me at Yia Yias for dinner. I wanted to go the last time she was here, but circumstances had other plans. It was our very first visit tonight, and it will not be put last. I think it may be a new tradition when she comes for visits! We both had the Yia Yias Chips (fried zucchini & fried eggplant) ? that were so delightful with the taziki sauce followed by Chicken Souvlaki(Char grilled skewers served with tomato, red onion, lettuce, tzatziki, in pita bread with fries) and substituted the fries with Brussel Sprouts ? chefs kiss. It made our evening. The waitress was also fun and charming. We took our leftovers to go and will be back another day ?“

“My husband and I love stopping in here for an occassional weekend breakfast/brunch. Staff are very friendly and make us feel at home. There are so many wonderful options for meals or small items, and the portions are a pretty good size! I always leave here feeling full and ready to tackle the day! Oh...and my husband loves it too!“

“Very good for thai. The prices are a bit high, but I guess everywhere is now. The dining area tries to be fancy, its a bit tacky - but so expected at this kind of place. The food is always good. There's alot of choices with good descriptions on the menu. and service is always freindly.“

The Hot Dogs and All American Burger hit the spot, and the fries reminded me of Concetto’s.When I grew up here on Meadow St, Concetto’s was down the street, but, to the left. “The barbecue is great!!This is a MUST if you love barbecue. The portions are ample, and the prices a reasonable.This family run establishment is a real gem for this region.The food is ALWAYS excellent. And they're constantly changing and adding new menu items that customers are interested in trying.The ribs absolutely melt in your mouth. “The service was fast and friendly. The food was prepared very well. Fish and chips were light and crunchy, very tasty. If you like it hot, the jerk chicken was a flavor bomb. Only issue is both plates were missing the cole slaw. Definitely worth checking it out.“

“Connecticut Valley Winery is a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious local wine! I went recently on a cold and rainy Saturday, but inside it was so cozy and warm! When you walk in, the counter is straight ahead and they have a couple tables as well as a small shop area. If you get the table right next to the fireplace, you'll be nice and toasty. To the right is a larger room where they store the barrels of wine, but there are also more tables in there with seating for larger groups.Most of their wines are fruity and on the sweeter side. I opted for the Ole'! Sangria, which was delicious! It reminded me of Hawaiian Punch. They don't serve food, but have cheese and crackers available for $10.The two staff members (who were the owners, I believe) were very friendly and kind. Overall an excellent experience, I will definitely be back!“

“The food was decent ( we had cheese ravioli with marinara and chicken frances) but overpriced for what is was. The marinara sauce was a little watery so the ravioli just kind of sat on top of it but it had decent flavor.The salad was fresh and the bread was good too. The waitress was friendly.“

“The Berkshire Tavern has been providing the best pizza in Torrington for many decades. After not visiting for almost 30 years, I was not dissecting as the food and drinks are high quality and the prices are very affordable. Our server Eve was both friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend.“

“Recently had dinner with friends and family. We had made a reservation so We were seated right away. Waters and hot bread were brought immediately to Our table while we waited for our cocktails. I had a dirty martini that was chilled to perfection, baked stuffed shrimp. Friends had the sole and cod both were delicious. All in all we enjoyed purr night out and highly recommend dining here.“

“Finally decided to try this place- did not disappoint! Ambiance 5, Waitstaff 5, Food & drinks 5. A little off the beaten path but worth it. The Tavern Burger was excellent, and my Husband enjoyed his Fish & Chips and craft beer. They have bands on Friday and Saturday nights and plenty room for dancing!“

“Grabbed a quick dinner last night: dumpling noodle soupfor myself , some steamed pork dumplings to share, and pork fried rice for my partner.The noodle soup was very flavorful and has all the extras you'd want for pho ( like extra bean sprouts, and hot peppers), the dumplings came in I believe a set of five? we shared them and they were quite filling and had a lovely peanut sauce to them.My partner finished his rice before I could get to try and said he'd get it again, so I'm guessing it was very good haha ?overall a very good restaurant I'll be coming back for sure.“

Little slow on the service, but we had plenty to gab about while we waited. Can't wait to come back! This was my third time and it was just as good as when the former owners were running things. “I wanted wonton soup so I stopped here and I'm not disappointed the soup was hot and full of flavor the wonton noodles were tender and delicious. I also got a order of crab Rangoons they were cooked to perfection not burnt or dry. Definitely my go to chinese place from now on 10/10 definitely recommend!!!“

“Just ordered a medium size grinder and I wish I had a large. The bread was warm and toasty and NOT SOGGY turkey was amazingly warm and light the cheese was melted to perfection complete with a cheese pull with every bite. Highly recommend, the best grinder I have had in a long time and I would say the best in Torrington PERIOD“

“Great place for running in for pickup on my lunch break, or sitting at a table and having dinner! Food is absolutely delicious! I have never had a bad experience and the owner and his girlfriend are so sweet, personable, and professional!! The other people that work there have been great as well, but specifically the woman that works Tuesdays. Our entire family LOVES getting the combo specials! Great place, highly recommend!!!!!“

“Best traditional Mexican food in town. Casual confortable dinning. I’ve been to México many times and his food is way better. You can tell this guy loves cooking, you can feel at home as if you mom made it but tasty and savory. We’ve been there about four times and every time, we try something different (get his soups!) we are never disappointed. Best empanadas ever! Get there and try something new besides your typical tacos, get his amazing juices and shakes. I’m telling you, delicious. The place is clean as expected, nothing fancy but cozy, never crazy crowded so gives you a more private experience and owner is very attentive. Big bang for your buck! “We just had the most delicious dinner at Nolis. Haven’t been there in awhile, & it was the best experience. We had Asian wings to start, which were outstanding. The garlic knot rolls were amazing also. We had veal Parmesan & veal Marsala, both of which were extra delicious. Big portions of both, so half came home with us to enjoy tomorrow. We are looking forward to a return visit in the near future.“

“This place is awesome they have the best boneless wings I’ve ever had anywhere. I am very picky. I don’t like hard things in my chicken. Their pizza is good just small the wraps are very good the garlic knots great the mozzarella sticks are great i didn’t have something I didn’t like except the steak n cheese but I’m picky .. of the grinder bread really fresh too“

“A favorite! I've lived 10 mins from AJ's for a long time and only started going this past year. Still have yet to have their pizza but menu items we've tried have all been excellent. The peppermint chocolate martini is a must at end of your meal - sooo good! Extra bonus is when they have Music Bingo taking place -- free extra family friendly entertainment.Kid-friendliness: Several families were eating dinner while we were there. May want to eat in dining room away from bar - sometimes people at the bar forget they are in public and language can get loud & colorful.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible - no steps.“
