I had such a wonderful experience today, at this charming bakery! First of all, Yumi and Chloe served me; I walked in from NYC ten minutes before they closed for the day (at 2:50 PM), and they were still kind, polite and courteous. Wow! They welcomed me as though I'd walked in two hours earlier, and that's a rare find in this inpatient day and age! : ) Thanks, ladies! I ordered a hot chocolate with dairy milk and a chai latte with non-dairy milk (oat milk), and both were terrific. The chai was a little sweet for my taste, but it's all good. : ) I also ordered the flourless chocolate cake and a plum tart. Both of these desserts were yummy! My spouse and I shared our treats outdoors, on the lawn of the local library - which is just down the street from the bakery - and it made for a lovely afternoon. Good quality baked goods! Unfortunately, the service is very poor. The owner/manger is rude and curt. The remaining staff of teenyboppers model their behavior on that of the owner/manager. In addition, they don't provide straws. After you've paid an egregiously high price for your iced coffee they inform you (with contempt) that they don't provide straws. Seems they care more about saving the turtles then satisfying their customers. Sad!

Food and coffee is decent but they don't let you sit or stand around. Was trying to meet up for coffee with a friend and this is not a good spot for that.

Great egg sandwiches for breakfast, home made English muffins, brownies to die for and so many other great bakery items!
Good food when they are open, but they don't stick to their hours, consistently closing very early. Wouldn't let me grab a coffee a few times around 245 when they close at 3. The managers are reliably rude and seem annoyed at having to serve customers. I've never left feeling like they appreciate their customers.

I ordered the 10” strawberry shortcake last week and packed in ice, we all arrived in Jersey city for my granddaughters birthday party. What a spectacularly delicious cake. My grown son remarked it’s only the second cake he he’s ever had that he wanted to keep on eating.! And he has…..it was enormous.Can’t thank SONO enough for another delicious ending to a great meal.

We stopped in before off sailing and the order was placed/ready in record time. I ordered the SoNo breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it has to be one of the best BEAC sandwich I've ever had. Yes, it was a bit on the oily/buttery side but there was so much egg in there that it was incredibly filling.I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a lemon currant scone. The cookie was fresh and tasty. The lemon currant scone could have been a little more moist but enjoyed the less sweet and hint of flavors
