The bakery has very delicious things, their bread is delicious, but the girls who work there are very poorly educated, rude and not friendly at all. It seems that one is going to ask for a gift. The owners should check their workers a little more. I am very sorry to have to say this. Thank you very much ?

Very bad service. You go with the best attitude and those women see you and act as if you were not going to pay. The owners should pay attention to that.

The desserts were delicious. It really brings me back to Guatemala. The young lady who helped us was really sweet and patient even thought they were closing soon. The bakery is a hole in the wall type of place but I feel like I can spend all day there to relax or to study. 10/10. A bit of a downside is that one of the desserts were slightly moldy on the bottom but otherwise all of the desserts we got were fantastic.

I am a baker, I called on the phone initially to see if they were hiring, and the lady on the the phone said, 'yes, we are hiring'. Granted I'm a Jewish Peruvian, I do speak Spanish well, when I went into the store an spoke with the women they laughed at me and said we aren't hiring. 2 of them ignored me and the other woman pointed to a man and said, 'he speaks English, talk to him. ' and my Spanish is good . These people don't like Americans.

El Quetzal is located across from the park named after the great Jackie Robinson park and several streets from the childhood home of Upper New York State Collegiate Springboard Diving Champ Jim Bowser which is 2021-2022 CIAC Coach of the Year with his protégé Hannah Chuckus as Diver of the Year ??. J. Bowser is a former very prestigious Jackie Robinson Scholar and loves to have Quetzal treats in the Jackie Robinson park.
