The desserts were delicious. It really brings me back to Guatemala. The young lady who helped us was really sweet and patient even thought they were closing soon. The bakery is a hole in the wall type of place but I feel like I can spend all day there to relax or to study. 10/10. A bit of a downside is that one of the desserts were slightly moldy on the bottom but otherwise all of the desserts we got were fantastic.

El Quetzal is located across from the park named after the great Jackie Robinson park and several streets from the childhood home of Upper New York State Collegiate Springboard Diving Champ Jim Bowser which is 2021-2022 CIAC Coach of the Year with his protégé Hannah Chuckus as Diver of the Year ??. J. Bowser is a former very prestigious Jackie Robinson Scholar and loves to have Quetzal treats in the Jackie Robinson park.

The bread is very rich! It is the best Guatemalan bakery around here, the bread is very similar to that of Guatemala, or I could say that it is the same. But they should make more chickens because they go very fast and I hardly ever find them.
