“Don't overlook this place. It's a great neighborhood bar with fantastic and fast food, a tremendous selection of beer and some of the funniest and friendliest bartenders you'll ever see. This is an old school place. They aren't going to adjust to you and your 'tude so leave that at home. Drop down to a normal level and drop in for a relaxing afternoon or evening watching sports on the TV and eating hot fresh food over a couple of cold beers. Seriously, what is there to complain about? You don't like the fact that some poor b****** isn't hanging out in the bathroom to hand you a paper towel and pray you'll throw him a buck? They don't have a raw bar or cracked crab today? Some D-Bag isn't miked up in the corner shouting slam poetry about how society owes him a mercedes? How about real people, real food, real beer and a real good time where what you see is what you get and what you get is awesome! One of the last real bars in Fairfield County. Definitely don't go by withhout stopping in and I'm sure you'll be a huge fan!“
“It's a fast food restaurant like McDonald's but the food is very good. The egg and sausage sandwich is served all day. It's one egg on a roll with 2 sausages sliced down the middle. I like McDonald's sausage and egg McDonald's muffin but duchess one was larger and better.“
“We had Mr Macs food truck for my son’s graduation. The service and food were amazing. Everyone was saying how good the food was and the kids and adults loved the sunglasses they gave out. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend! Thanks Chris for making the party a bit hit!“
“Stopped in today for the first time. Friendly, California vibe is immediate. Food was ready quickly. We had the Yuppie, Mongo, Krusty, fries, and a root beer float. Everything was delicious and made with care. Toppings were fresh and flavorful. Root beer float wasn't too sweet, and the ice cream texture was perfect. This is my new, go-to spot!“
“This place is an institution in landmark of Fairfield. It’s a famous spot that David Letterman and Martha Stewart go to really great hotdogs and super cool place to eat. Really nice ambience in the employees are awesome. Super friendly definitely check this out if you’re in Fairfield or around there.“
“Manny catered a surprise party that we hosted - pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, turkey, empanadas. The food was excellent and everyone was very happy! He was super easy to work with, the prices were reasonable and everything was awesome! Definitely recommend him!“
“Visited SDW last week for lunch with a chef pal who has several restaurants overseas. When he is Stateside, he always searches for staple foods done right. Gary and the crew delivered on all fronts. My go-to is the New Englander, and it never disappoints. My buddy had the Chicagoan and loved it. We both got a burger as well, which was cooked perfectly and impressively juicy. We were both taken aback by the hand-cut fries with S&P. We commented on how hard it is to consistently turn out such high-quality, short-order potatoes, and Gary gave us a detailed rundown of their process. After a lengthy discussion, including the merits of whole-belly clams vs. strips, Gary even gave us an order of hand-battered onion rings to try, which were also stellar. Super Duper is the real deal, from the menu to the people!“
“The chef (Leanord Duane Prue the 4th) took such delicate care of my meal and ensured it was of the upmost qualityParking: Lots of spotsKid-friendliness: Super welcoming environment, the chef will make your kids feel right at home as long as it’s Lennie“
“Great place, great food, staff very nice. Only reason didn't give 5 stars all around was atmosphere-more of a sports bar atmosphere not really my thing and not from the area so felt kinda like a newbie. Service was a bit slow but it was pretty busy. Fries were cold when I got them but they made a whole new huge batch and they were absolutely delicious! Best drink and food prices anywhere I've found! We will definitely be back!“
“??? BEST EGG & Cheese Sandwich in the neighborhood under 3 minutes. I stepped into the restroom for what was probably 2.5 minutes. Upon exiting I was greeted with only the finest sandwich in the Town! They’re not too chatty, unlike me but extremely about action and proof. I went to a nearby restaurant a few weeks ago and they couldn’t ever match the caliber of the attention and quality of this fine eatery. I am very picky and particular.I needed the eggs runny/over easy with LTM & boy did these guys deliver? 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ALL AROUND. I do recommend. Check ‘em out!!Parking: Bathroom in service. I actually stopped elsewhere prior and needed to use restroom to my dismay, it was “out of service.” Which really sucks for employees, too! ALERT ? TO ALL RESTAURANTS WE KNOW THEYRE FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS, MAKE SURE THEYRE IN SERVICE.“
“Such a great place. My dad and I drive past ot a lot, and we were talking and decided it was finally time to just give it a try, and I'm so glad we did. I can understand why some people might think it's very comparable to Five Guys because flavor wise it's similar (not exactly the same, but you definitely get Five Guys vibes) which isn't a problem at all because I love Five Guys! Also, much better prices than Five Guys. Great service, were greeted kindly right as we walked in, great food, the fries were honestly one of the best burger joint fries I've ever had, and overall great place to go. Definitely will be back 100%.“
“This has become a staple in our family - made to order breakfast sandwiches with a gluten free option! Great price point and a very family friendly atmosphere! My 2 year old asks to go to Goodie’s for an egg sandwich almost daily! Makes me so happy to have this little tradition!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options ?Kid-friendliness: My two year old is obsessed with this place, my husband and I could not be more pleased with the ease of a nice meal out that doesn’t break the bank, or feel too fussy!“
“A bit removed from the maddening crowd, I originally came because it was near a cool Geocache. (Look up the geocache, it's not on the ground) The view is very pretty, but the driveway does come close to the drive through exit so enter with caution. There is a good amount of parking in the lot, and for warmer weather several outdoor eating tables. There are also chairs inside in bar seating at the window. Service is quick and efficient, and menu boards are inside so you can plan your order before reaching the register. Sadly, they now offer Pepsi and not Coke as on the menu. The food, however, is a fun vintage pick me up and the menu prices are fair. You definitely won't feel as though you've wasted anything, time or money. I tried a Longburger with cheese, a burger on a hot dog bun, and it was fun! Taste wasn't surprising, but I feel like I got a piece of Americana. There is a single restroom available for customers.“
