I had dinner here last night. Shrimp fra diavolo. It might be the best Italian food I’ve had in the US. The service was fast and super friendly. The restaurant felt cozy and a little like I was eating at grandma’s house for Sunday dinner. .

I had a few guys working in the yard today and randomly chose Stella's to order from. We ordered a large white clam, and a large meat lovers which unfortunately showed up as pepperoni! The restaurant, without hesitation, made the large meat lovers at no extra charge for the pepperoni that the guys ate, and were very apologetic! This has to have been the tastiest pizza we had from any pizza place in the area, everything about it was perfect! I can't get enough of the crust! We'll be back for certain!
We just ate in the new part of Stella's expanded restaurant and can't say enough good things about the food, service and warm feeling we got upon entering. This wonderful addition to Stella's is now our favorite Italian restaurant in Torrington. We felt like family as we were personally introduced to the menu including an apology for not being able to offer any wine with our meal. They are BYOB until their license is granted but don't miss out on this absolutely gourmet food. All prepared with fresh ingredients and the love and talent of a chef that obviously wants to please. From the rigatoni arrabbiata and shrimp fra diavolo to the cannoli ending... fantastico! Don't forget to grab some wine. You won't be disappointed.

Food was terrible Service was even worse Ambiance was not good ladies behind counter fought with each other. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Definitely won't be back.

I've never had a bad pie from Stella's. Always get eggplant and meatball or sausage and garlic. We pick it up, mostly because the store has no control over the quality of delivery services like DoorDash. I went in the rain and the fellow inside carried out my pizza and opened my car door. I was impressed and will give them my business as long as they're around. The pizza can be greasy, but if it bothers you just blot it with a paper towel before eating. Reviews are nice to go by, sometimes, but I encourage you to try them for yourself and make an informed choice. I love Stella's pizza!
