“This is a small taqueria located downtown. The ambience is like a luncheonette, not a romantic affair at all. I came on a Saturday night with a friend and we were fortunate to be seated immediately at the last available table. Service was also immediate and friendly. I felt as though they were anxious for us to order however we had some questions about the menu and so our server had to return to give us time to decide. Once served, and eating they scooped up our plates before the food even got to our mouths! This was unsettling as we felt rushed and that they needed the plates back as soon as the food was off of them. I ordered the shrimp ceviche that came with avocado and chips on the side . It was tasty however different than any I had before in that it was in a tomato base and seemed more like a gazpacho than ceviche. We each ordered a pear and beet salad which we liked and cornbread to share which was delicious. My friend had a chicken taco that was enjoyed. They don't serve liquor here so we were a bit disappointed that we didn't get to have a margarita to go with the food. Like I said, it appeared that they don't want you to linger. Overall the food was good and the service was friendly. If you want to eat and go, this place will fit the bill.“

The food was great as was the service from our waitress Liliam who recommended a La Parrillada and steak fajita that were very delicious.We also tried a couple of strawberry flavored margaritas that were great. Birria tacos so on point some of the best I had !( even from the food trucks on long wharf) garlic parm wings yumm perfectly tender yet crunchy and sauce was perfect consistency! Shrimp and grits also very yummy !!! steak and veggie stir fry with mash ( each separate I loved ) but probably pairs better with rice“

If you're not into that kinda thing - come for the cocktails!! Not only are they cool offerings, but the presentation is top notch. The melon tasted just right, the tiki chip was cool and the dehydrated blood orange was a beautiful touch! It really is true you eat, or drink, with your eyes first!“
