“After a long day at court for work, I was absolutely famished. Luckily, my coworker had a fantastic idea - why not try this place that's conveniently within walking distance from the Waterbury courthouse? To my pleasant surprise, this Via al Paraiso is quite different from the one I usually go to, which actually has the same owner. While they don't offer the same ready-to-serve hot food options here, they do have a lovely menu to choose from. As soon as we walked in, we were quickly shown to our seats. And because I had a big tote filled with files, we were even given a bigger table just as we had requested. For our meal, we both decided to go with the el meson, and we also couldn't resist ordering a refreshing morir soñando, which is a delightful blend of orange juice and evaporated milk. And let me tell you, both dishes were absolutely scrumptious! I'll definitely be returning to this place the next time I have to be at court. It's a fantastic option for a satisfying meal, and I truly enjoyed my experience here.“

Ranch Burger made to order, fresh thick sliced vegetables with steak fries. The Bourbon Wings made me Regret only ordering 6 should've taken 12 more home ???. Sweet potato fries for the win crispy to the order, fresh coleslaw..... The Bill came to $37 something I tipped $15. Compliments to the Chef. “I've heard really good things about this place for many years and have always wanted to go, but just never had the chance, until recently! I went around lunch time on a Tuesday and they weren't very busy, so I was able to order pretty quickly. I only speak English, but I've a "brown skin" person, so Spanish people always want to speak Spanish to me first, but when I replied in English, that wasn't a problem - I bring that up, because normally at authentic Mexican taquerías this normally is an issue.They make a large offer of proteins in any style of serving you want (Example: You can get Pollo in a taco, gordita, sopes, tortas, etc), so I got a pollo and an asada. They have a big bin of pico to scoop out once you get your food and that had the best, freshest flavor! Their green and red sauces were both very nicely done and both were spicy, with the red being very hot, but tasty. The pollo was excellent - Lots of great flavor, quite possibly one of the best pollo tacos I've had! The asada was dry and not flavored very well. The fresh lime I squeezed on top really helped to light it up, but it still needed more help, so I used lots of salsa.Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. I can see why they're rated so high, definitely worth the hype!“
“I've ordered here through Doordash three times so far, and the food is always delicious. Just had some pork and chicken tamales today, and they are yummy too. Smaller than I expected, but i appreciate less calories. Great prices and great delivery. Plan on stopping in at Speedway soon.“
“I'm from Mexico and I think this is one of the best Mexican stores/restaurants in the area! They have pan dulce, chiles, herbs, hot sauces, etc. All the essentials. We were in a rush but managed to get an esquite and a torta al pastor and they were so good. We'll definitely be back!“

Three al pastor tacos with a steak and cheese empanada. it was still warm when I got it home to my waiting margaritas. I will be hitting this place a lot! one little extra that most places don't think to throw in are sliced radishes, but these guys know what's up. so I had those to snack on, as well.“
