I had to take care of some things at the post office down town. I stumbled along this place by accident. Mind you I moved here from NYC 6 years ago. I'm very spoiled growing up and eating NYC pizza most of my life. Since my years here, I have tried many pizza shops claiming to have NYC pizza. It's just a big joke! I even challenge them. Anyway, this place is legit NYC pizza in not just Waterbury but the whole New Haven county. Huge delicious pizza that don't break and crumble when you fold them. They are hand tossed and not put in to like cake backing pans. Where it comes out all soggy! The mozzarella is white and gooey and not burnt orange. They are from NYC the owners and can tell they brought up their recipes with them! It's family owned and ran. The Family is so delightful. My absolute go to! Hands down best pizza in these part of the state.

I stopped in a few times for a slice. I liked the pizza and went back several times, and they were closed even though Google says they're open. Someone needs to update the information. With their hours, I don't see them lasting very long.

This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The crust is amazing?came fresh and hot, cheesy was gooey. Just really a fantastic pizza! Definitely my new spot

Literally THE BEST pizza! The wonderful staff make it that much better.
I wanted to try their Cherry Bomb pie. When I called in I was told that I was looking at an old menu from the previous owner. I asked if they had an updated menu anywhere online. Do dice.So I went ahead and ordered a large cheese pie. I didn’t know I was gonna cost me $18 (mah-roan!). Still, I really wanted to like it because the owner seemed so nice.I got home and tried it and it was nothing special. It reminded me of the Buck-a-Slice pizza that I used to get in the City (NYC)

This is easily the best pizza I have had since I moved here. They put your slice in the oven to get it just right before giving it to you. The crust gets nice and crisp, and there is precisely as much cheese as the crust can support without collapsing. The price point is amazing. I honestly don't know how they turn a profit. It is so good and so inexpensive.My favorite is the white pizza, it is most excellent.The owners are very kind and friendly. I feel like family when I drop in, which I do a few days a week.They have some cafe tables in front that make for a great place to enjoy your meal. It's definitely worth checking out.
