Excellent restaurant. The staff is awesome. The food is delicious. The chef went out of his way to make me a dish that was not on the menu. Our waitress Alexis must have told him that I had asked if they served shrimp parmesan. She suggested the shrimp linguini. The chef prepared the dish for me which was very caring, it made me feel so special. I highly recommend Ria's Restaurant in Waterbury, CT.

Just visited Ria's Restaurant. It was such a lovely and relaxing place. The wait staff is excellent. The chef went out of his way to make me a shrimp parmesan. I was actually surprised because I had asked Alexis the waitress if they served shrimp parmesan and of course they didn't but she suggested a shrimp linguine. I decided to just order gnocchi. She came back to the table and told me that the chef would make me the shrimp parmesan. That was one amazing chef to go out of his way for a customer. I highly recommend Ria's.

Maria is a very talented chef and creates great Italian dishes. They have a nice selection of wine and beer for those who like a drink with dinner. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Great place for a family night out.Parking: Get there early parking fills up fast!

I'm sorry I feel the need to update my review. It's really unfortunate when you get a pizza that's been made with good ingredients and the only thing wrong is that it's burned. This is the second time I have gotten burned pizza from Ria's. I really like the restaurant but you can't serve burned pizza and expect people to come back. Please give me a reason to update this with a good review. I'm really disappointed with this last order.
