I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad!!!! The chicken was fresh and moist!!! The greens were fresh ; and it had just right amount of salad dressing . The drinks were not only affordable but well worth it !!!Vegetarian options: They have meatless options

Ok so apparently I've been so far out the loop because I'm always in Waterbury and I had no idea that Turf was like poppin like this. When someone asked me if I wanted to go I looked at the yelp profile and was extremely hesitant. No disrespect but it looked like over priced boring bar food. And I assumed an old head crowd. I was surprised to be greeted by dope brunch vibe that I was completely under dressed for. The dj was spinning all the hits. Hookah service. Bottomless mimosas for hourssss I think it was something crazy like 11 to 4 but don't quote me. They have a full full bar. And guess what...y'all know a I'm big advocate for Mocktails. They mixed me up spritzers with tonic water and pineapple juice just as requested. The Menu was far better than what was listed on yelp. It was like being in the twilight zone. I got mad at my friend for even letting me walk inside with my grocery shopping maxi dress on like what???? Was that a set up? I seriously did not know this was a really nice brunch spot. Good thing I had one lipstick in my purse to pick myself up a little bit. No I'm not my makeup but cmon it was a vibe. A nice crowd that actually dances and isn't too stuck up. Id say maybe 20's to lay 30s give or take. The wings I had were really goood. Cooked thoroughly and I like the seasoning. They sprinkle whatever it is that they sprinkle in places like atl when you order the c*#wings. Sooo good and I've been craving them since. Their blue cheese and buffalo had a fresh taste. If it's restaurant depot it sure did not seem like it. Id def say this is a spot I'd go to again and again. Even if I didn't stay I'd take the wings home repeatedly. I briefly spoke with the owner and got the instagram. Looks like they have karaoke on Thursday nights so I'm dying to get out for that. And he's been the owner for I guess a year now so maybe things have changed around? I'm not all that familiar as I'm not always outside outside lol

Not exactly sure how this place got so many stars. My coworker and I stopped in after work to try the place as we were staying at a hotel nearby, but the bartender was eating and only came to us (we sat at the bar) when we asked her to. We were the only customers in the whole place. We asked the bartender a couple questions, she was polite enough but clearly didn't care/like her job so we excused ourselves and left.

Last night was the first time I had been there since it's changed management. The place has not lost its downtown charm. I suspect I was just early. I don't drink so I ordered from the kitchen to practice gluttony vs drunkenness. The food was prompt and awesome. The bartender was polite.I still see it as a great place to watch any kind if sporting event imaginable. There are countless TVs. Always a few old school guys dressed up in suits and playing a game of cards.Downtown was hit hard after the shutdowns and restrictions. I'm glad to see the Turf is still there with a dignified atmosphere that it's always maintained for at least over a decade now.
