The dough was not fresh on the pork steamed buns at all. Also everything was a bit overpriced. Broccoli in noodle bowl was too crunchy. Maybe would be better if sat overnight and sat in broth.

The most authentic XiAn food in New England. We drove 2 hours for it, and it is totally worth it! The owner is super nice. It has become one of the milestones on my road trips.
A very few and far between authentic asian restaurant here in CT. I have been to Xi'an on multiple occasions and I can truly say the food is AUTHENTIC. Not only is the food great but so is the service. The LiangPi noodles is a well know street food in Xi'an and they have successfully brought it here to my neighborhood. Upon the other dishes I have tried, my personal favorites are the cumin beef noodle, spicy sour lamb dumplings, as well as the pork sauce noodles. I highly recommend this place as this is now my go to food spot!

I am a client who would never eat in this place, it is unhygienic to have animals inside a restaurant, they must take measures in this situation, anyone can get sick when eating in this place, I really do not recommend it.I and other other people who consumed the restaurant next door looked and captured how people had a kitten inside and they were inside the same establishment

Very good Xian style noodle dishes. Only 2 tables in the place, mostly Togo but good and worth it. No other Chinese restaurant in the half of CT is this style.

They hiked the price by 50% of what is listed on online menu. I ordered spicy beef noodle soup and fried dumplings which cost me over $28 without tips. Taste is good but i cannot justify it based on the price. I went there around 6 pm on Friday evening and no one was dining in or taking out. There are only three dine-in tables. Not going back again.

this place is a dive. it is also a gem. I've been eating xian since they were in west Hartford. it's the only place in Connecticut that competes with the noodle shops I grew up with in NYC. The noodle quality alone is just outrageous. The soups are flavorsome and balanced. I love love this place and only wish it was open on more days.I don't recommend dining in. the new location is significantly smaller than their west Hartford site. But it's worth it!!

expect a longer than usual wait, but the food is made fresh. Spicy beef pulled noodles + dumplings + burger are great. small location but great service and food!

I can’t speak to authenticity, or comparisons to other places, but my family thoroughly enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and noodles, beef with noodles, and bao. Trying to get the very long (2’ or so) noodles out of the bowls with only chopsticks was challenging and fun. We’ll certainly be back, but it’s much too close to be safe. We’ll probably be back here multiple times per month. As far as ‘dine-in’ is concerned, they only have three small tables outside, and only four chairs.

This is a restaurant you MUST visit. Noodles are hand-made and authentic. It’s better than Xian famous foods in NYC. Prices increased but still affordable. Their bao is home-made. Also taste is very good.
