“Went there for lunch...we had both specials...broccoli abd mushroom flatbread and clams over linguini...my husband was in heaven with the clams. This is one of if his favorite dishes and this was a top 10 rating. The place was super clean and friendly. We will be back! A 10 rating...5 stars x2!”

“This is by far the highest quality food in west haven. I bet even with 30 miles. The owners are fabulous and the food is amazing. Great outdoor entertainment during the season Not only do I love to have a great sit down meal the cater all our family’s gatherings. When a family member was down and out Linda the owner delivered the food personally and made sure we had the whole experience even though we couldn’t make it there she brought the restaurant to us. Amazing people and food. What’s worse than going out to dinner and still being hungry…WELL NOT HAPPENING HERE.

“I’ve been a regular here since Day 1 and I can’t believe I didn’t post a review until NOW!! What can I say, it’s the best seafood in West Haven HANDS DOWN! The oysters are fresh, the lobster rolls are the best, and the mussels for 2 is so flavorful. The staff are like family and welcome you with open arms. For drinks, I recommend the manhattans, old fashioned, espresso martinis and dirty martini with the blue cheese stuffed olives (YUM!). Their Moby’s lager is delicious and there’s a great selection of tequila. The bartenders are the best around! My favorite dishes are the lobster Mac, Lobster Rolls, Tuna Sushimi Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and tuna tartare. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with your dining experience! Nick and the crew will take good care of you. I’m a customer for life ❤️”

“This restaurant is lmost hidden in a small strip mall, just a quarter mile from the Orange West Haven line, this family run, friendly Taqueria is definitely a hidden gem. As you walk inside the vibrant colors and ambience surround you with hand painted Mexican scenes on the tables, carved colorful chairs and warmth from the friendly staff. There are only about 12 or so tables. The food servings are generous and full of fresh vegetables, cheese and delicious well cooked meat. It is a great place for a relaxed meal or take-out. Support this easily accessible Post Road family business and enjoy!!”

Every that uses heat to cook is primarily put inside the pizza ovens, giving it a nice crust be it toasting bread, fries, or even the pizzas themselves. The service was also great and I was given all the traditional sides to complement my sub and fries.”

“Went there last Saturday, August 3rd at 12:30 pm and had the best time ever. I spoke to Riley prior to going asking about the chocolate martinis and she told me that Allisa made really good ones. When we got there to celebrate a girl's day out Riley was there, our waitress Shelly pointed her out so I could go over and introduce myself. Not only did EVERYONE treat us like we had been going there for years and were family, but Alissa made REALLY GREAT DRINKS and the FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. My sister had a couple cosmos, and my other friend and I had the chocolate martinis which were WONDERFUL!!! We had chicken tacos, fries and the Burbon pork belly bites were SOOOO GOOD you would want to slap anyone who tried to grab any. This was truly a good time and although it was busy, loud and was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN because everyone was fabulous. I will look forward to going back next time I'm in Connecticut.”

That was one big Quesadilla! I shared it with someone, because it was too much for me. Oh by the way, the garlic parm wings, & mild wings were delicious too! Don't sleep on Zee's food. It's fantastic. Also of note, check out their specialty drinks. Always something new & delicious to try!”

It was packed with fresh lobster meat and delicious. I also chose the onion rings as a side for a couple more dollars, and they were very satisfying. All ofmour meals (five of us) had enough food for two meals, so now we have tomorrow's lunch! The prices are fair, and the takeout service was great. Thanks!”

There is not one week I dont see a couple of meals that are different from what I would normally eat, that I WANT to eat. “So I typically have a great sandwich here, but the other day I placed an order over the phone for my grandfather’s birthday, and when I showed up too early to pick up the order I thought I heard they didn’t have one type of meats for the ‘Sweet Italian Combo’ (of course my grandfather’s sandwich, out of all of them ordered). I thought nothing of it as nobody said a word to me from behind the counter. Grabbed the orders and paid, get home and it was a grilled chicken sandwich with ham (random combination) BUT was labeled as the Sweet Italian. It all made sense now, and I was not mistaken from what I heard. The Provy Brother’s would of never of pulled that ‘stunt’ and would have been transparent that they did not have the available meat(s) for the sandwich instead of making whatever they decided AND labelling it as the requested sandwich when it was not. Yes, the sandwich was still good, but imagine my grandfather’s surprise on his 86th birthday that his favorite sandwich he ordered from his favorite sandwich shop was not what he ordered or wanted on his special day. Please don’t EVER do that again to anyone. That was messed up and you all know what you did. And yes, we will give you all another chance as your sandwiches are always great. Just please be honest to your loyal customers.”
