“I pulled into a Dunkin Donuts right off of 95 early on a Sunday morning March 11, 2018. I had started my trip back to Virginia after an Emergency visit to my mom at the Middlesex Hospital. A dummy light on my dashboard indicated I had low tire pressure. The Toyota Dealership next door to the Dunkin was Closed. I had not had breakfast yet so I sought out the Dunkin. The employees there were THE BEST. While this very personable young lady took my order, she listened to my troub“
“What a pleasant surprise! We have been visiting our son for years who is part a program for disabled adults. We are foodies and have never been impressed with any food on the shoreline. This brunch was beyond all expectations! We will definitely be back.“
“A non-descript shop that shares the building with an electronics repair store. Felt like going back in time! Went late morning on a weekday in mid-February. They were out of our favorites so had to settle for for other limited options. Service was OK but the inside could use a lot of work. It didn't feel dirty, but didn't feel clean either. Donuts were $2 each and decent. Definitely larger and better than DD. No oily or chemical taste, and cooked to a nice crisp. Filling was tasty, but not abundant and there was none in my first few bites.“
“Was traveling for work and stopped at this adorable little shop with a great purpose. The employees were warm and welcoming. There is plenty of room to work, enjoy time with family and friends, or eat. The ambiance is beautiful with lots of plants, activities, and great lighting. The cappuccino and bagel I ordered were both delicious!“
“I've been getting my coffee from Deep River Roasters for years now, I used to roast my own or have it shipped from assorted roasters around the country. As a pretty big "coffee geek", I can say after trying everyone in CT that I have found, and quite a few places overseas, that there is no place I would rather get my coffee from. You're not going to find anyone around here with fresher roasted beans, or more care put into them. Fantastic coffee and fantastic people, who will certainly go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your coffee. Do yourself a favor and go now! Unless you're too far away, then check their website, because they also ship their beans!Parking: Huge parking lot at the Witch Hazel Works building.“
“Adorable shop with classic and unique flavors based on the season, all so creamy and delicious! You cannot go wrong here, and they offer ice cream flights, loaded sundaes, and large milkshakes, all for very reasonable pricing alongside classic cup/cone options. Friendly staff“
“Go...taste some of the best cheese selections this side of the Atlantic . Let the wonderful owners suggest something , but don't stop there...browse the chocolates and pastas, the jams and ready to bake pies, ice cream and so much more...like sourdough and baguetts. It is a Hidden gem .“
“One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had!! Big menu with creative options. Customer service was excellent and the prices were very affordable. I highly recommend! I'll definitely be back again soon. Great location in downtown Chester.“
“I was in here to poke around to Pick up a few little things for stocking stuffers. Lots of old fashioned candy I thought I'd order a couple sandwiches to go seeing it was getting close to Dinner time . I'm so very glad I did! I got a Rueben with Pastrami on a hard roll and a Black Forest Ham with lettuce and tomato, cheese on a hard roll. Best sandwiches we had in a long time. The service there was OUTSTANDING. Such very nice people. I haven't been here in a long time, but I'll be back for sure. The selection of sandwiches is great and they also have soups and many other things in the deli too. If you get a chance stop by you will be very pleased“
“In the charming downtown of Essex, CT is a little coffee shop located across the street from the historic Griswold Inn.The coffee quality is exceptional here. With beans from local coffee roasters you really can’t ask for more. The staff are very accommodating, and the cafe clean. This spot is truly a hidden gem if you haven’t discovered it yet, I’d recommend moving it to the top of your list!“
“The coffee/espresso is really good and they have lots of cool options. I got the Aztec coffee which she explained to me was hot cocoa coffee and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the s’mores coffee and was also a big fan. They also have some awesome soda options and a cute atmosphere. The one downside is it’s a little on the expensive end, but worth a try for sure!“
“I'm here most everyday. I drink only black coffee. This is by far the best place in Madison for black coffee. My favorite thing is the variety and not knowing what they will have on the board. Usually 3 solid choices. I also get whole beans here for home. Sometimes get the cold brew. Very good but strong“
“My wife and I headed to Old Saybrook for Sunday breakfast. There are many options in the center, and this little place caught our eye - so we gave it a whirl, and we were not disappointed! The Nutty Joe Coffee ☕ is off the chain stupid delicious ?; we could drink cup after cup after cup... and still want another cup! I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel w hot sauce - spot on. My wife had perfectly poached eggs and a delicious banana muffin... no complaints. The gentleman working the grill was fantastic, and sitting outside was just the topper to our wonderful experience. If you haven't been, get there; you will not be disappointed.“
“There’s such a variety of yummy treats at Essex Chocolates! I always find something to enjoy for myself or a gift to buy for a special occasion. They have a nice range of items from homemade to name brands to novelty. The handicap entrance is next to Scotch Plains Tavern; the entrance just outside the chocolate shop has a few steps. Plenty of parking on both sides. Check out the local handmade gifts or just stop in for a beverage or ice cream!“
““Mad boom wrap” (subbed black beans to make vegetarian) and cookie butter iced latte. Uggh the wrap was so delicious and the coffee made perfectly! The cashier/barista was also so sweet. Can’t ask for a better experience. Will be back!Vegetarian options: Very accommodating to dietary needs. Just ask!“
“I always wanted to visit the bookstore but never knew they have a small cafe in the back. My daughter didn't had any breakfast that day and I can always find a good excuse to try a new place, so we decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was super nice and friendly, they greeted us right away. They had a menu for Valentine's Day and looked so good we decided to try 2 drinks and share a breakfast sandwich. Our coffee drinks were very good, I had a hot mocha and my daughter opted for an iced special. Our California sandwich had boiled egg and a spicy spread with apple slices on the side. I will definitely come back or take something to go on my way to the beach!“
“We LOVE Olive Oyl’s. In the 20 years we’ve lived in Tri-town, it’s our family go to at least once on the weekends. When the kids are home for school breaks throughout the year they frequent Olive Oyl’s several times a week. We love the vibe, the food, location, and especially Kevin and Jen! We are lucky to have such a great place so close to home!“
“If you read any reviews, read this one. I'm here all the time. I often work in a store in the same plaza, so I've seen them on their good days, and their bad days. But even on their worst days, this dunkin is STILL the best. I've lived and worked all around the state and regulared Colchester dunkins, Uncasville dunkins, hartford area dunkins. even as far out as derby dunkins. no dunkin matches this dunkin. The sandwich guy is 10/10, give him a raise. and the guy behind the counter is the perfect, level-headed person you need running an establishment like that. he takes a busy floor and makes it look slow and easy to manage, just by staying calm and operating at peak capacity. Ive also worked at dunkins throughout my younger life and i know how both easy and hard it is to do that job. my only complaint is that I'm unable to tip them. I hope you're paying them higher than Dunkins minimum if you're gonna do that, owners. because for the best dunkin employees to not be at a dunkin where they could get tipped, just tells me they should consider taking their excellent service skills to a casino dunkin, where they have the chance to make WAY more.“
“I am not from this area, but I stumbled upon this little coffee shop in my travels. I was warmly greeted, and they took my order immediately (this was 11am so not a rush hour for a coffee shop) and they made me one of the best lattes I've ever had. Had great flavor, and was nice and hot. About the same price point as Starbucks, but worth every penny to support a local shop. I would recommend a stop here!“
