There are a number of very good restaurants/eateries in Old Wethersfield. Smoked on Main is a gem specializing in BQ and BQ/fusion. It adds a more casual vibe to the area without sacrificing quality. I reviewed the menu before entering and thought I had decided on a very traditional bq meal. But when I saw the specials, my plans went out the window. Best BBQ in the greater Hartford area! My wife and I split the smoked sausage, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, Mac, coleslaw and cornbread and everything was excellent. Good sauces to complete everything as well. Definitely recommend
