“We just had a brunch for 70+ people after a funeral here last weekend. The owner was wonderful. I did not have to worry about a thing. The food was terrific, the staff wonderful, the venue perfect...they could even have accomodated more folks if needed. I didn't have to worry about thing. I highly recommend Cotton Hollow Kitchen. “The food is out of this world!!!!! The fried chicken is so moist and perfect. I got the honey mustard wrap and garlic parm fries and it was divine!!! My bf got the southern fried chicken and it was phenomenal. Even the nachos and chilli were fantastic! Cannot go wrong here. 10/10!!“
“The food was outstanding! It was great to have keto friendly options when out in the road!!! Sometimes finding keto friendly and sugar free options is really hard!!! My husband and I got to speak with the owner, who was so nice!!! Service was fast, food was great, and it has a nice calming atmosphere. We even got 2 ready made meals to take home in addition to our leftover lunch!!! 5 stars all around!!! Like everyone knows Perfect Chicken ? it takes time to make and cook. You just don't want to eat something that is not done right. “There are a number of very good restaurants/eateries in Old Wethersfield. Smoked on Main is a gem specializing in BQ and BQ/fusion. It adds a more casual vibe to the area without sacrificing quality. I reviewed the menu before entering and thought I had decided on a very traditional bq meal. But when I saw the specials, my plans went out the window. I chose an order of 2 specials: Turkey empanadas and the beef habanero tacos. Both were presented well and had phenomenal flavor. I don't want to forget to mention that both dishes had a nice kick... not unbearably hot, just a wonderful kick to the taste buds. This place is a great addition to the Old Wethersfield dining scene. There's indoor seating in a very clean and modern interior. This location was the Grange Hall and obviously has gone through a major renovation. There will be outdoor seating once the warmer weather returns. I'll be back.“
