“I have to say that we were highly impressed by the service of the gal Jessie that was working today! We had guests at church earlier and ended up deciding to do an impromptu takeout order for 9 people. Jessie was working alone. She was evidently the only staff there but worked so quickly like there were two people working. Between our large order and taking and making online orders, she was such a professional and pleasant besides! We'd say to give that gal a raise! Also the food was great !So thank you to Jessie for doing such a great job!“
“I was there to try the new blackened chicken sandwich. I ordered a spicy blackened chicken sandwich and a spicy chicken sandwich. Spicy chicken sandwich still is their best sandwich. Blackened chicken sandwich was good, but cannot match spicy chicken sandwich. Cinnamon apple pie was a decent dessert.“
“This place is amazing. Best burgers anywhere, bar none. Fries are creative, plentiful and delicious, and milkshakes are to die for. I've been twice, once in Avon and once in Cromwell, and was truly impressed both times. They serve Bell & Evans chicken and ground beef that's more commonly found in 4-star steakhouses. I love it!“

“Food was very good. French Onion soup, shrimp/chicken cajun, sea scallops - all were very good. Service was not that good, waiter delivered drinks and food but never stopped back, a waitress came to the rescue to give check But we will give another try.“
“Harry's Place has long been a Colchester stable for many decades (1925). It's even identified in Martin Podskoch's "Connecticut 169 Club" book, touring Connecticut's well-known favorites. It holds a special place in my heart as I've been participating in an annual gathering at Harry's for several years. Not only is the food and service spectacular (no... I mean REALLY spectacular!), Harry's Place helps prepare me for Spring and my 'to-do list' mindset with the help of gathering with old and new friends. We sit on one of the many available picnic tables or upon blankets on the spacious grounds with pockets of flower gardens to look at. I use this eatery as my starting point for another year's race for time and activities. And it doesn't hurt that I can frequent back throughout the season to be recharged (smile); the onion-rings are worth it in themselves.I hope Harry's will be around for many more years to come!Bon appetit!Theresa Kegley of Middletown, CTParking: While I do ride my motorcycle there, parking is never an issue. The parking lot is well pressed down so motorcycles don't have issues of loose gravel. And for vehicles of any size and shape, there are plenty of spaces for you too.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room on the grass for kid's to be kids; and as it has a family feel to it, children are well protected.“
“Everything was fine. The food was good The service was good The restaurant was clean even though I didn't eat in. The issue was the card scanner hung up and had me waiting at least 15 to 20 minutes longer and then when I took my order out carrying it in a plastic bag they handle ripped so this is nothing to do with the employees but is a technology issue as well as the overall KFC trying to save money and making thinner plastic bags ended up spending more because they just needed to double up the bagging. Long story short go to this restaurant it's fine it's just frustrating like everything these days where there's overall cost cutting everywhere which impacts the customer and the customer's experience.“
“Honestly expected a regular pizzeria, but it was a welcome surprise. The worker walked us through the Subway-esc process. I tried the keto crust and it was actually good. Overall the place was a welcome surprise. Will definitely be coming back.“
“I like this spot their food is good it's just sometimes the chicken has so much fat. I would say they can't control that but they could remove the fat before frying? other than that I love the flavors they have for sauce and the waffle fries are good. Also the place is clean inside.“
“This place is better than the subway on Boston post Road, the employees are decent in my experience and who i believe to be the manager of this subway can be cool from time to time and hooks me up with extra in my sandwiches without charging extra. I mainly order online, pick and leave and havn't had an issue with this place yet and unlike the other subway place i mentioned for the most part this subway place pays more attention to online orders.“
“I have eaten at this DQ since I can remember. It is just down from the college (Eastern Connecticut University) and quite popular with the college crowd as well as all the team sportsters who stop by to get a bite after a game. I do love the Blizzrds- but they seem to stick to me and I've been a cone small -onl y for a while here. The staff is well trained, friendly and quick at their jobs. A friend of mine was visiting from mid NewHampshire and as we approached he said this will be hours -- I usually give r up---- but he was amazed at the quick and accurate service. Kudos to a well run operation“
