Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience.”

“We booked The Tavern for our October 2021 wedding right before the pandemic hit. Throughout the entire planning process and hundreds of questions, Jasmine was always readily available via email or text up until wedding day (even when we became date twins). Everything came out beautiful, the set up for dinner and our ceremony was perfect! The grounds were perfect for our pictures. Everyone loved the appetizers during cocktail hour and our cake was delicious. We had a few mishaps during our dinner, but we didn’t let that fog the happiest day of our lives. Jasmine also quickly took action and made things right. They will likely be my go-to for other events because ours was greatly executed with the help of my in-laws, Lynne (sorry if I spelled it wrong), and Jasmine. My favorite thing about having them as our venue was that we didn’t have to clean up anything or set up anything. Lynne made sure things were arranged accordingly and brought my vision to life. Even when we had to create a back up plan because of weather Jasmine and Lynne helped to calm my nerves about the last minute changes.”

“The food was amazing! General Tso’s Chicken wings were EVERYTHING!!! The Chicken Lo Mein(eaten before the picture) are the noodles to come back for!! The fresh lemonade was PEEFECT!!! And the Banana Pudding was too good! You can tell the time, effort and love that was put into making our food!! Everything was fresh and the wait time was not long at all!!!! Not to forget the restaurant itself has a very welcoming and home like atmosphere. Even the music playing was great as well. This place is an all around vibe, come check them out!!!”

“WE only discovered this branch of the Frisbee group late in 2021, but we are devoted fans now. First off, the ice cream was voted some of the best in CT ( via the Newington store) by Channel 3-TV subscribers. Next, it is the only source for No-Sugar Added ice cream in the Bloomfield area. And the site is lovely, despite the farm now being inactive. There is corn-hole for the kids to play on the spacious lawn, and plenty of parking. Finally, they keep the farm-store open more months of the year than most places, roughly April to November. We can count on a great dessert more than half of the year at Frisbee's .”

The best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Everything taste fresh. Croissant was light and crispy. It was perfect!”
