“Sri Thai what??? I really don't have time to write this review in between dining and savoring the outstanding flavorful delicious dishes prepared by a talented chef!!!This wonderful family owned establishment takes pride in purchasing the freshest ingredients! The dance in your mouth flavor of each dish is ridiculously mouth watering and delicious. The presentation if you can take a minute to appreciate it before diving into this wonderful blessing to your palate?? is worth taking a picture. (So sorry the amazing aroma and vision of these dishes, no photo it was an afterthought)??My lovely daughter discovered this wonderful gem and I'll drive two towns over to get there, 25 minutes, it's so worth it. Please take the time to dine in if you can so serene and relaxing?Last but not least the kind, lovely, friendly server who takes great pride in presenting the best dishes and making sure you are pleased with your dish is wonderful.Once you go, you'll keep going back, patronize Sri Thai West Haven I tell you, you'll be so happy.“
“I’m in Shelton for a week for work and saw this resturant was highly rated and it did not disappoint. I ordered three things, the cashew nut with chicken, shrimp and chicken shumai and mango sticky rice. The main meals were tasty and full of flavour but the winner is the mango sticky rice. Honestly this is one of the best desserts I have ever tasted, it’s on my top 10 list of desserts. I am blown away by the flavour, it’s a mixture of creamy sweet goodness and the mangoes are so fresh and perfect. I’m trying to think of ways to bring it back with me to London without it spoiling because it was that good. For now it’s sitting in my fridge waiting for me to eat it ?. I will definitely be back!!“
“An amazing gem in Milford. This restaurant has the best fresh Thai food we have ever eaten. We have been there several times since their opening in March. The dining area is cozy and has neat architectural details. The staff are very friendly and take their time with you. If it is after rush hour you can sit and chat with them over a bottle of (byob) of wine. They will make anything to your specific needs such as vegan or gluten-free.Please pay them a visit!“
“I’ve ordered takeout a couple of times. Pics are the beef satay and shrimp spring rolls (after eating 2 of 4). Previously I’ve gotten Pad Thai, dumplings and chicken satay. All food was cooked really well and the dipping sauces were all delicious. I order through their website and they will even bring my order outside when I walk my dog! Will be back.“
“12.24.23 This is going to be one of those I can't believe I haven't posted a review for this place yet, even after the dozens of times I've been here over the last handful of years. This is Naugatuck's hidden gem. They most definitely deserve the accolades. A family run Asian business. Need I say more? I've encountered most of if not all of their family members at some point. They're always so sweet kind and patient. They are all so genuine & kindhearted people. Their are very hospitable. It does take a little bit longer at times for you to receive your food but it's worth it. They're making it to order and it's always fresh. They don't have a lot of staff working with them usually. I have tried many different menu items and i can truly say I've never been disappointed. The inside is ornately decorated with something interesting everywhere you look. The ambiance is casual & friendly from the moment you walk in and get sat. Nice relaxing vibe. The Thai iced tea is a great starter. It goes great with their Larb. Yummers. The Thai crispy egg rolls are great too with the fish sauce. There are some lunch specials that are very inexpensive they run Monday thru Friday but I prefer most of the items from their regular menu. Let's just say the lunch specials i have had weren't my favorite items from their menu. My favorite is their Lad Naah with the side noodles, Chinese broccoli & the gravy. Serious yummers. IMO. For real. Almost forgot about the Sai Ghock which was delicious too. It's home made. But My all time fav is the mango sticky rice of course. This is drool worthy yumms :-) The parking situation is very easy. There's parking on both sides of the street and a large parking lot across the street for many of the surrounding businesses. Also forgot to mention their prices which are very reasonable for the product that you receive. They never rush you out of there like some places do. You'll always leave feeling replenished & happy.“
“My husband decided on a whim to try a new Thai place for lunch Tuesday, and I'm really glad he did. My Pad Kra Prow was GREAT and I can't wait to go back & try more dishes. He said the employees at this establishment were super nice too so we will definitely be returning!!“
“This is a nice little Thai restaurant tucked away in a small strip mall. The service was excellent. A number of the staff welcomed us as we entered the restaurant. They also all said goodbye and thanks for coming on our way out. I had a red curry dish that was delicious but my wife’s wide noodle chicken dish was not very tasty. I would certainly go there again and try something different.“
“The atmosphere is incredible but nothing beats the coconut shrimp and crab rangoon apps. My BF and I were crawling through new haven and this was an amazing stop the drink apropo the jungle bird was out of this world with coconut rum and passionfruit a must stop in New Haven a hidden gem for Thai “
“Shelton Thai kitchen is one of the places that brings me most food comfort. They're affiliated with another restaurant that had closed that I frequented. They're yellow Coury brings me a lot of peace.I love the additions of the bubble tea and all of the other small adds to the menu. The owner is amazing and very kind. The restaurant is a good size so there's plenty of seating. This is some really solid Thai food. Definitely would recommend.“
“Had a delicious dinner here! The Tom Yum soup, crab rangoons, and Thai sampler were all delicious for appetizers. Everyone was happy with their entrees of lemongrass chicken, noodles, fried rice, yellow curry, pad Thai, and Param noodle as well. We found the restaurant to be really clean, and it was nice that the kitchen was open, where you could see it was clean there as well. This is a great local spot close to home for us, so we will definitely be back!“
“Great service, great ambiance, and great food! I got the brown sauce with chicken and white rice. It was so tasteful and the perfect amount of food. They even shaped the rice into a heart! I will be going back again to try more of their dishes!“
“Great Asian restaurant!!! Fantastic variety of Asian cuisine. Some Japanese and some Chinese even some Vietnamese. This is the place for you if you love Asian food. The staff here is very nice also and what stands out is their quality of service. I love seeing good service having been In the service industry doing fine dining for years. Always there for you. It's wonderful for a family dining experience. Defintely swing by for a easy casual bite! There bubble tea is great too :) ? My one feedback is their portion sizes are a little bit small for the price they should make them bigger. Otherwise will be back!!!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian rice dishes and noodle dishes and tofu options !Dietary restrictions: Clearly labeled menuParking: It's right off the avenue so difficult to park“
“Delicious delicious! Went here based on good reviews. Small place - only 2 tables to sit at - really looks like a take-out place but the 4 dishes we ordered were delicious and we kicked the plate clean - 2 noodle dishes, chicken mango curry and chicken pineapple.“
“I have now been here 4 times. My grandmother fell in love with this restaurant, so now we go quite frequently! We love that 90% of the menu is gluten free and can accommodate celiac. We really like the pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and the chicken satay!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten free and celiac“
