food and coffee was fine, if expensive. my main issue was the lid to my coffee was only sitting on the rim and not actually secured on the cup so a significant amount poured out when i took my first sip and burned my chest, got in my hair, and stained my clothes. i drink a lot of coffee has never happened to me before? i hate complaining but given i was physically burned i feel like i needed to say something.
My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite for breakfast. Such a comfy spot that we actually stayed longer than anticipated. The atmosphere is so beautiful, clean and inviting. My husband had the bacon, egg & cheese biscuit with sweet pepper jelly. He described it as “gratifying and delicious “. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Truly service with a smile!!! Next time we’re in DC, we’ll definitely stop by again

Honestly a bit disappointed by this place, I got a chocolate croissant and black coffee to go. The croissant was a bit stale (definitely not fresh from the day) and the coffee was just OK, but not a particularly great taste. For $10 for a coffee and pastry I was hoping for higher quality food.
