Fun bar with a board game theme, even in the decor. And lots of games to play!

Great selection of games available and you can rent/borrow them for a dollar. It can be difficult to find a table if you arrive late. The bar doesn't have any food but you can have outside food delivered and eaten inside

for my birthday they let us play as many board games as we wanted for free!! the vibe is very loud-college-friend-group, which is fun for us twenty somethings :) i can't tell how good the drinks are but service was fast! only sad part was they only have bags of chips for bar snacks, but they were yummy bags of chips nonetheless! and for my fellow wolverines... PLAY MICHIGANOPOLY!!

I wasn’t a fan… the drinks were expensive and not good. I got the strawberry basil lemonade and it was so tart/sour that it was undrinkable. I literally took a sip and the bar tender didn’t offer to remake it or replace it or anything even after I said I didn’t like it (and still charged for it, even though I didn’t drink it lol). Not my vibe. Maybe if you really love board games, otherwise it’s just another expensive dc bar with not great service.

I came here for a date on Saturday night and the place was very busy. It is two floors and both floors were extremely busy. It definitely caters to a young crowd so I was one of the oldest people here for sure. My date and I were able to snag two bar seats and we played Backgammon for a few hours. The bar service was good. We only had a round of drinks and grabbed 3 games, which they charge you $3 for each game you take off the shelf and you either pay the guy at the door in cash or the bartender by card or cash. The bill was around $35, to you figure $26 for two drinks when you subtract the board games. It was a decent night overall. I learned to play Backgammon but it's not a place I'd seek out as I'm generally not a nightlife kind of person and this place is definitely way too young for me.

Great energy, especially during happy hour. It starts out nice and chill and then booming later in the evening. Perfect Thursday night and would happy hour options. Loved all the games, of course they're used but not totally falling apart. I was happy to see a board gaming place in the dupont area. Totally going back!

Had a great time. A nice laid back place to meet up with friends for a very reasonable happy hour.

I don't think they have food here (at least not the day i went), but as a consolation prize, they allow you to bring your own food. The service was great, and what better way to beat the cold than to intake some cost-effective drinks, cozy vibes and board games with friends. Tell them I sent ya! ?

Fantastic fun bar with two floors, an awesome vibe, and great bar service. You can pick from a pile of board games, card games, puzzles, you name it! Bring a group, a friend, a date, it really doesn't matter. Plan on having a night of fun and laughs. It's often pretty packed though so it might be tough finding a table or a stool.

A very cool bar with lots of seating to play all of their board games. Top tip to get in there before 7 pm, when they start charging for you to use a game. Also, it's a popular happy hour spot, so you can get seating easier if you beat that rush at 6-6:30 ish.

I cannot comment much because I feel like I'm becoming the old guy going to bars. Nevertheless this place has a nice atmosphere and the board games made it a perfect place to spend it with others. The place was super crowded, but I felt like it was big enough to fit the clients coming and going here. Bathrooms like any bar just get so dirty. Can't complain about anything else.
