I ordered the wagyu burger through uber eats. The onions were burned and the burger tasted terrible

I have visited Duke's a handful of times and have really enjoyed it every time. The food is always delicious and the fresh squeezed orange juice is perfection. You really can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu but I do highly recommend the Proper Breakfast Sarnie or the Proper Burger. Chef's kiss is what those two things are.Side note, I often like to point out restaurants I think are great for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd dates. In my personal opinion, breakfast is the best time for a date because you are at your most energized, breakfast is super casual so less stress, and a post-breakfast stroll around the park getting to know each other is perfect. I would highly recommend Duke's for a 3rd date.

The burger was good, and the service was excellent. Good place with the option to dine on their patio."

Who runs out of red wine during happy hour and then says they aren’t replacing it with another red wine. That’s coming straight from the managers. Way to make poor customer service decisions.

I think I found my ONLY burger place in DC finally, and I almost gave up! I always get a standard burger with LTM first. ( I added cheese and I'm so glad I did) So I got the kids cheeseburger & it is now my FAVORITE BURGER, Hands down! The beef AND L&T were fresh and cooked perfectly. * those buns are a big part of it too & make sure you add the cheese & tomato. I also got it To-go so it clearly holds up with carry out/delivery. I'm hoping for consistency and if so, I would call this the best burger in DC - for SURE!

Really nice spot for a meal with friends. It's popular, so I'd suggest setting up a reservation. The food was great! Wait staff was quick. And even though it was a nosiy spot, my group had a great time.

I went there because no other restaurants around there had open seating and I didn't have reservations. I should have come here first because the food was great. The hostess set us up for a table for five right away, which suprised me because it was crowded. Our waitress was right on top of things and our food came quickly. I had the chicken parm sandwich and I loved it. The other in my group had burgers of different varieties. Everyone thought the food was delicious. The bar was good too. I'd definitely come back.

Service was great. Drinks were wildly inconsistent; once 3 of the theoretically same drink arrived in a round and each tasted nothing like the other. The toast is just bread with no butter or spreads, maybe it saw 5 seconds worth of heat. The veggie english should have meatless substitutions or be discounted more ($2 less but you lose about half the amount of food). The English breakfast should also not be assembled like a Benedict so the "toast" doesn't get completely saturated with the stupidly sweet liquid the beans are canned in. For something called the Proper English Breakfast, I can't imagine anything else that would get you deported from the UK faster

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night a week before the cherry blossom festival and were surprised to find it not too busy. The place is cute inside and has outdoor seating with heat lamps available. My only complaint is that the music was a bit too loud. We all got the proper burger and were equally surprised that all 4 were cooked to the proper temperature. Mine may have been a touch underseasoned, but the tasty toppings made up for it. The beef is obviously very high quality and delicious, the pickles are thick cut and ice and crunchy, and the garlic aioli was perfect. The fries were also great, and though $6 is a bit steep for fries, there are enough for 2 to share. Overall I’d highly recommend Duke’s if you’re in the area.

Few things to note. The brussel sprouts were pretty horrendous. They were lukewarm even when the cast iron plate was scalding hot.Fries were good.I got the spam and Patty burger (forgot the name) and was good, thought it seemed there was no option to how cooked we wanted the burger to be considering we weren't asked that question. The burger came out well done. There should be an option considering they mostly only serve burgers.Hummus was good.Overall the vibe was nice but the food could do with more improvement.

The white truffle Mac and cheese was the best Mac and cheese ever! Burgers and Fries were very good too! The inside is a little loud and crowded but they had a few tables outside which was nice and quieter.
