The best birthday venue in DC!!!I had my birthday here with a party of about 25 people and they were able to accommodate us with a few tables and chairs with no minimum!! That is very rare to find for large party dining these(Big Plus!)The owner who is constantly working the room was such a nice guy! He gave us a special bottle of their house tequila, and our server even gave me some birthday drinks! I definitely felt like a birthday queen! El Techo is a rooftop VIBE! Came here for my bday in August and emailed for a reservation of 18. I had quite a few cancellations and party size changes, to which the staff was very accommodating and quick to respond. We were not able to get seated at the time of our reservation, but they definitely made that up by not rushing us over the 2 hr time limit. Absolutely amazing dinner at El Techno for my birthday. Vibes were immaculate, birria ramen bomb was in the top 5 things I've ever eaten. Staff were friendly and helpful, but didn't hover, absolutely perfect. Margaritas were delicious. The owner, Louie, came by and introduced himself and made sure everything was great. Honestly couldn't ask for a better dinner for the price.
