Great outdoor seating on such a lovely evening! We didn't have to wait for outdoor sitting on a Saturday night about 7pm, however for inside sitting, it was a 1.5 hour wait. We had nice service and tried the garlic bread, cacio de Pepe and shrimp diavolo. All were tasty. They add a 22% service charge to the bill and are very transparent about it so you don't double tip unless you want to.
My friend and I made a last minute reservation at La Collina in Eastern Market, and I'm so glad we did! When we arrived, they needed a few extra minutes to get a table cleared for us. For the "inconvenience," they gave us free Prosecco - a great sign of the friendly, attentive service to come. We shared the burrata salad, which was good - filled with bitter radicchio that was balanced out by the honey in the dressing. We went to La Collina for a nice meal. The ambience was appealing and the food was very tasty. However, what stood out most was the outstanding service that was provided to us by Ms. Jasmine! She was so attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you're lucky.... You'll get Jasmine as your server!!!!
