We've been going to Matisse for a long time and it's been consistently good, however it may be fading a bit. Food was good but a lot of the choices were fish. The server seemed new and was not super-efficient. Still very good, but not excellent.
Service, menu item choices, excellent wine list, accessible parking are the reasons I have been dining at Matisse for over 17 year. Home-made linguini with wild mushrooms is amazing!

We are semi-regular diners at Matisse. Sunday's supper was superb. My wife had the mushroom fettuccine and I had a similar dish— porcini mushrooms atop cavatelli pasta with truffle oil. Our first course was also excellent. I had the in-house smoked salmon and my wife enjoyed her goats cheese atop roasted gold & red beets. It was uniformly excellent in every respect.
