I came here for dinner with a few colleagues on a Wednesday night. The interior is impeccably decorated and provides that quintessential steakhouse feel. We started off with cocktails; I had a Mezcal Negroni and my colleagues all ordered the Smoked Old Fashion. My Negroni was very good. For starters, we did the Deviled Eggs, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, the Calamari and the shrimp sautee. My favorites were the calamari and the sautee, but be careful if you don’t like spicy food because the sautee definitely had a kick (which we all enjoyed)! For my main, I ordered the Ocean Prime House Salad and added grilled shrimp to it. I thought it was fine; nothing to write home about, but it was a simple dish. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and a few folks had the Salty Caramel cocktail. I really enjoyed the dessert; I don’t think the menu here is very inventive with the one exception of the desserts!Overall, I think this is a solid choice if you’re looking for a reliable, standard steakhouse.

Wanted to see if all Ocean Prime's are the same accross the country and I wasn't disappointed. The teriyaki salmon is always worth it, definitely recommend visiting Ocean Prime if you can. And the service is also good, Sandra was very quick and helpful. You can also do the Prime Lunch menu and get a salad, a meal and dessert for a reasonable price, I just didn't think I would finish all of that.

Very good food, the sea bass was good and the warm butter cake was soooo great. I only wish proportionally that it had more of the sides (broccolini and mash potatoes) with the bass and personally, it had a little too much oil so I'd opt out of it next time. Overall, worth going for some really well cooked food and desserts for sure ?

Had an amazing experience eating for the first time here at Ocean Prime. Owen did a fantastic job taking care of us! They were extremely busy as I think there might be a conference in town. So our whole dinning experience took close to 5 hours. However Owen apologized for this multiple times, brought us over some glasses of wine on the house and even ended up comping our dessert. Usually dinning this long would annoy me, but his kind nature, and checking up on us constantly made it much more bareable. The food was amazing. Crab cake and warm butter cake were the highlights.

Beautiful private dining room for our event. Not sure which was better, the food or the service. They even had an impressive vegetarian selection. Top notch.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian and vegan options for both entrees and appetizers. The gnocchi was delicious.

We were here for a business dinner. Ambience is top notch. Ordered the espresso martini for drink. The seafood tower app was ?n phenomenal. Crab legs, lump crab, shrimp cocktail, oysters, everything was on point. Most of us ordered the seafood, I ordered the ahi tuna and it was good, nothing spectacular but still flavorful. The sea bass I heard was the best. All in all, a great experience and top notch food.

Second time visiting and same thing happened as in NYC when I visited there. As a single business diner, even though I book a main room table, I arrive and they say nothing is available and try to put me in the bar. Fell for it last time (and hated the noise and ambience) so told them I would walk out if they didn't honor my original table request. It took them 10 minutes but they did "find a table for me"--and then the server barely touched the table all night. I know the manager will respond to this and say "please contact us" but I did that last time and nothing changed. I won't go back. The food is okay but not special enough to deal with bad service.

Phenomenal overall experience. Taryn was about to accommodate our party of 6 on a busy Friday night and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our food. Looking forward to returning.

Totally worth the splurge! I got the twice baked potato as a side and it was 1000/10. The twin lobster tails were SO GOOD! I opted to get them stuffed with crab because-why not!? Our server and I shared the same name so immediately I liked her! She even remembered a detail about what me and my friends were celebrating that night and mentioned it at the end of the meal. The restaurant is nice and quiet. Great for date night or girls night, or an anniversary, bday- anything really special!

My wife and our adult daughter went to Ocean Prime when we were visiting her in DC. The overall experience was OK, but on the whole not worth the price and not as nice as we would have hoped. We had a reservation, but for some reason they seated us right near the door even though there were nicer booths available. Hostess also seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Our server was extremely friendly and pleasant, but disappeared for long periods of time, including after the main courses were delivered (by someone else). The food itself was good, but not great. My Ahi tuna, ordered medium rare, was more like medium well. On the whole, my impression was that there would be better places nearby, especially for the very high prices (most entrees over $50).
