The food was good and there was a good selection of sake. The service was excellent (even though they only had two staff doing both table waiting and sushi making).I wish there was more roll selection/variety and an option for larger boats/platters - we had to order mostly piecemeal.Very expensive restaurant.
My wife and I went here while on vacation in DC and it was excellent. Great sushi, nice beer, good ambience (not deathly quite nor overwhelmingly loud i.e. able to converse and be comfortable) and the service was excellent. Highly recommend. Will return once we are back in DC. Hopefully soon. Great town, too.

We were walking by after our meeting at the White House and decided sushi sounded good! This little place had no wait at 7 pm so we decided it was a good place to decompress.The menu was reasonably priced for the sashimi platters and well below what we pay in Hawai'i for sushi rolls.
