The pastries at Rose Ave Bakery are truly incredible!! Each bite is so flavorful & well balanced. I will definitely be coming back. The inside of the cafe is also charming & aesthetic with nice decor and plants. The only issue is that it’s gotten so popular that there’s often a line out the door!! However, the staff are extremely efficient & friendly. The wait goes by fairly quick. Rose Ave Bakery was suggested to us on our recent trip to DC. It was AMAZING. the shop is cute. the staff are lovely. the food - WOW -- each of us got a different pastry and drink and we were all swooning over our choices.My son is easily overwhelmed when it comes to choices and since most of the flavors were new to him, it was especially tricky to quickly make a choice. The donuts are filled up soooo much and it was delicious. We were waiting outside til opening and wow, did the line get long! I am not sure if its always like this or if it was because of a race this particular weekend. It was a pretty quick turn around though. Wouldn't deter me from coming back. Would definitely get another donut and want to try their breakfast sandwiches!
