Bakes his bread… who does that? Massimo does! He also makes the sandwiches fresh from his own bread subway rolls. He makes his own gelato. He fresh cuts the prosciutto which at six bucks for a quarter pound is a great deal. The pasta is home made too. This place is legit. You can order for catering and with his prices, why would you bother buying the stuff yourself? Just get it ready to go. My first time here! I live close enough, but honestly just forget it's here. It's a fantastic Italian deli and I'll be coming back!I came for fresh mozzarella and a variety of cured meats for a sandwich. I left with hot sopressata, hot capicola, and Genova salami, fresh mozzarella, and artichoke hearts. Everything was fantastic, but the marinated artichoke hearts were really the standout! Great place to stop in for lunch! It's strictly deli style so there is not any seating but our food was ready very fast. Very authentic Italian feel. We ordered the Italian and the chicken parmesan sandwiches. We were very impressed by the quality of the bread and other ingredients used. Very fresh and filling. We also purchased some cannoli which were some of the best shells we have had.
