Decent Chinese food. The taste is very similar to the taste of domestic restaurants.

The intestines were my favorite part of the meal!! It was not too fatty and had a little kick of spice to it. If you can eat intestines, I highly recommend. It's on their new menu. Also on the new menu, we got the sweet and sour pork. The pork does have bones in it, but the sauce is delicious. This was my friend's favorite. For a veggie dish, we ordered the mapo tofu. I thought this was lacking compared to other mapo tofus I've had but I usually like more meat and smaller softer tofu in my mapo tofu. You might really like this. Service was good and quick. Everyone there spoke Chinese and were very friendly. The interior of the restaurant is decorated nicely. Check out this place for more authentic chinese food if you're in Georgetown!

Servers are great, restaurant is cute. Food is fine, it's not the best Chinese in the area, but may be the best in Georgetown.

The clerk speaks very good Chinese!! Fish is great, but I’d skip the bubble tea?

The woman who runs the place is incredibly nice and is always helpful with making my gluten allergy works. They make the crispy beef gluten free and it doesnt seem to be very cross contaminated (I have celiacs). Absolutely scrumptious.Dietary restrictions: Celiac/gluten free optionss

Chef probably changed. Dishes were either too spicy without flavour or bland. It used to be really good before. Hopefully owner will pay attention to the quality and authenticity of the dishes.

The dishes taste great. However some of the rice seems yellowish, so they were probably serving overnight rice… The other problem was that the price on the menu ISN’T the price they asked you to pay. They explained that the menu hadn’t been renewed, but it seemed dishonest to me. I hope the menu can update correctly soon, so people wouldn’t order food with price they aren’t expecting to pay.

Shanghai Lounge in DC is a top Chinese restaurant for me: 1. One of my favorites in the area. 2. Quick and warm service adds to the experience. 3. Consistently offers flavorful and authentic dishes. 4. Pleasant surprise: Noticed an improvement in their rice quality during my last visit. 5. Conveniently located near a Tesla supercharger - what more could you ask for?

My favorite restaurant in DC. The dry hot pot is the best all in one meal when I don't feel like cooking, and I also really love the kung pao tofu. Sad eggplant is another good one. My dad and I usually order take out from here once per week. Don't dine in often but the staff is lovely.
