Shanghai Lounge in DC is a top Chinese restaurant for me: 1. One of my favorites in the area. 2. Quick and warm service adds to the experience. 3. Consistently offers flavorful and authentic dishes. 4. Pleasant surprise: Noticed an improvement in their rice quality during my last visit. 5. Conveniently located near a Tesla supercharger - what more could you ask for?

The intestines were my favorite part of the meal!! It was not too fatty and had a little kick of spice to it. If you can eat intestines, I highly recommend. It's on their new menu. Also on the new menu, we got the sweet and sour pork. The pork does have bones in it, but the sauce is delicious. This was my friend's favorite. For a veggie dish, we ordered the mapo tofu.
