The sushi itself was very good! You could see the chefs prepare them. We spent a lot of money on dishes (noticeably more expensive than kura) but everything tasted so fresh and GOOD compared to kura. The service was just ok, as they do not have an electronic check in system to say when it is your time for a table. The restaurant itself is kind of small as well. Maybe about ten tables? Also, when we did get seated, we were offered a place that had food on the table and chairs… i had to wipe off the chair myself with my hand. Everything else was great!

My friend and I tried Sima Sushi last night for the first time and were pretty satisfied! The menu is a bit expensive but the prices are valid because Sima Sushi has the best quality out of any other revolving sushi bars in the area. I ended up ordering most of my items off the tablet because it was easier to keep track of what I was getting and spending that way. I would especially recommend the aka ebi, cheese garlic scallop, and raw scallop w/ lemon salt. Also, keep in mind that the space is pretty small so expect a bit of a wait if it's peak hours! Overall, this is definitely not a place where you leave stuffed but I really enjoyed the fresh sushi and would come back again to try more of their menu.

As a former Chicagoan, there are many things I miss about my old home. One of which is our plethora of rotating sushi places, so I was super excited after passing this place a few months ago. I finally ventured in this evening, and I was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly upon our arrival. The restaurant space is fairly small, and it was pretty full for a Monday evening in downtown at 7 pm. At your booth, you can pick different plates that are color coded based on price. The plates range from $3.5 to $9.95 for rolls. You can also order items directly on an iPad at your table. We selected items both from the conveyer belt and the iPad and walked out spending under $50. I found that the quality of the sushi and the price were totally worth it. There may be fancier or nicer places to venture in town for rolls, but sometimes you just want a neighborhood spot where you can eat plenty of food without breaking your piggy bank. We will definitely be back soon!

This revolving sushi spot was pretty good and had some good options. We enjoyed the seared salmon and seared scallops the most; they had a buttery flavor and melted in your mouth. They also had some interesting choices that I had not seen before like a soy marinated raw shrimp. We tried the uni as well which was pretty good but not amazing. Overall had a great time here.

We lived in Japan for 4 years and absolutely loved it! Dining at Sima Sushi felt like going back to our time, there. The food and atmosphere, as well as the service role above approach! If you've never experienced a sushi-go-round, you've got to give them a try!

An adorable conveyor sushi place! By no means does it taste cheap, and if you’re hesitant about the belt sushi they also make it fresh! A great place for small friend parties, easy to split bill, and staff are cute and friendly. My friends love it here. I think there are definitely higher end places, but considering my bill was $37 after 6 plates I’m not going to complain

Sushi was very fresh and very good price. The ramen and udon were not the best but who cares, you are going for sushi anyway.

This place has delicious sushi and was always inviting with its friendly staff and good customer service. Unfortunately it lost its charm as they implemented self-serve ordering with tablets at the table. We wanted to order a sake but the tablet menu didn't show the descriptions of the different sakes. After a long day of work and looking at screens all day, we got frustrated and walked out last night before ordering anything.

Very good sushi in a relaxed atmosphere. I’ve been looking for conveyor belt sushi around the DMV and this is the first to really knock it out of the park. Quality is excellent and a convenient touch screen makes ordering from the menu very easy. The price will vary by plate, and can run higher depending on the fish, but the quality you are getting is definitely worth it. Conveyor belt sushi can get a bad rap but this place is not like others.
