May not order again, but doesn’t mean I would comeback not again… maybe to try the other sides. Pickles had a sweetness to them. Not bad, but don’t look to me given I’ve never been a fan of sweetish pickles regardless of where they come from. The brisket made me happy. I would love to try the Turkey in a sandwich. The ribs tips were perfection. I purposefully saved my extra sauce because it is that yummy.“

“I was jaunting down U Street Washington, DC went I noticed the full wall marque for Ben's Chili Bowl, you'd have to be blind not to notice. I was hungry so I ventured in and was warned to try the original chili, half smoked...........a grilled hot dog served in a steamed bun with mustard, onions and spicy chili sauce. I was brought up on Michigan Red Hots .....but this chili concoction was awesome. I bought 2 more to take back to my hotel to warm up in the micro later...this is chili fit for the President.“
“The food was very good. I had the soup if the day. It was a black bean chilli was big pieces of smoked meat and topped with cheese and red onion. Delicious! The collards greens were tender but over seasoned with vinager. I was definitely go back for the chili!“
“Great atmosphere; the place gets busy at 7 and later, where it is bustling and great vibes even on a weekday. That’s when I would recommend coming here. Great service, our waiter checked on us very very often, and was attentive. Food was alright. The po boy was alright, wouldn’t order again. The brisket sandwich was really good though! Fries were soft, not crunchy, which I actually enjoyed but I know a lot of people don’t. Pecans brownie was soooooo good! Super warm and soft and strong chocolate, really generous on the pecans too! And a nice scoop of ice cream. Overall, if you come here I would come at 7 or later, get the brisket sandwich or smash burger and the pecan brownie.“
