Had brunch here over the weekend with some friends for my birthday. Bottomless mimosas/rails is definitely the move! Brussels sprouts (on the side menu) were so good! Definitely need to be an appetizer option. Chicken and waffles were fine, nothing to write home about. Overall great for the price.

If you go for brunch, please dear god do not order the chicken and waffles. It was two Tysons reheated chicken tenders, with 3 waffle quarters. For $20. They got upset when we asked to split the check and made sure we knew it. For a brunch spot in DC, you'd expect it to at least be semi-crowded by "brunch" time. We were the only table in the restaurant.

I have honestly never been to a more average restaurant. The food was fine, the drink were fine, and the service was fine. It's a safe option for sure but nothing to write home about.

Hey all! I had the best time tonight! The bar is amazing! Josh was amazing! After dinner he directed me to the most cozy and comfy bar called Fox & Hounds! I will def be back. Everything was awesome! I'll be back and bring my family! Food was awesome as well as the drinks!

My visit to Trio Bistro on 17th street left much to be desired. Although the caprese salad had some redeeming qualities, the rest of the meal was a disappointment. The trout, our main entree, was served shockingly cold, and its fishy taste was off-putting. What's worse, it was utterly lacking in flavor, making it a truly forgettable dish. The side of potatoes was undercooked and, just like the trout, they were also served cold and lacked any discernible flavor. The real low point, however, was the included beets. They seemed to have been plucked straight from a can and had an unpleasant metallic taste.Overall, Trio Bistro's offerings fell short of expectations, and the experience was far from enjoyable.

It's always a treat to dine here. The staff, with special mentions to Jennifer, Amanda, Ana and Fatu, are very gracious and accommodating. Anything from turkey or meat dinners, fish, salads, or pizza are a sure bet. A nice to take a special someone for a quiet dinner.

I love Trio's and have been frequenting the restaurant since 2011. It's located onna row of nice restaurants on 17th, and does well with brunch and lunch. The bistro has indoor and outdoor seating, as well as the bar. The restaurant is clean and the bathroom has some cool relics to check out.I love the selection offered, the oysters and soups are delicious. I love the salmon and pot roast. The pizza is the bomb. Prices are a little high, but portion sizes are generous.Shout out to Amanda, the best waitress ever. If you get her, treat her well! Can't wait to return.
