Hanks is a classic but, boy, they too have joined the group of restaurants including a service charge (5%). It is listed on the menu, but if you miss it, you wont see it when you go to pay on the portable ToastTab machine. You are handed the machine at the tip page and will not see the 5% fee. So, tip wisely!
Atmosphere was awesome! Was immediately served with goldfish and water. I ordered lobster deviled eggs and fried oysters. The fried oysters came very quickly and were some of the best I’ve ever had! Then they cleared my plates and my server came to cash me out. I asked about the deviled eggs. He seemed confused and said “you didn’t get those already?” I confirmed I did not. We came here for dinner and had a pretty good time. The host was not that friendly, but the wait staff was awesome. The half-shelled oysters were good, ceasar salad was good, and all of the deep-fried food was great. We got popcorn shrimp and calamari (size small), fried oysters (size small), and French fries; they were fresh, crispy, and not oily.
