Went during the week which helped us find a nice seat by the window. The croissant, sweets, and pita were fresh and delicious. The coffee was unique to Yellow’s flavors which was delightful to try!
I saw Yellow featured on “Somebody Feed Phil” (Netflix) while he was visiting DC last year. Whenever I walk past there’s a line, so I decided to go in the middle of the afternoon. It was worth the hype! The flavors were amazing – in everything, from the sandwiches to the drinks to the sweets. Crazy good. I had the lamb shoulder sandwich, which is what Phil had. Wow. I loved this spot! We went around 4 PM on a Tuesday and it was lovely, quiet, and delicious. The staff clearly love being there and provided top notch service, with several recommendations. The not-pizza’s are pretty big, so one was enough to split when we ordered hummus, the carrots, and the olives too. We are so lucky to have this incredible Palestinian spot for delicious food, pastries, drinks, and even coffee!!
