“I ate at the Merchant Bar tonight with my parents and my 2 young daughters. We came in during the Ladybug Festival to get some dinner and my kids quickly started to get cranky (to put it nicely). Our waitress, clearly an angel on earth, brought over bowls of grape tomatoes that she had sliced in half and cucumbers while we ordered and waited for our food. I was getting overwhelmed and she saved the night by doing that. The food and drinks were also phenomenal. Thank you for the great service and I can’t wait to go back!“

“I returned to my "alma mater" of the University of Delaware for a visit and was told by locals that a "must" was GRAIN ON MAIN. I wasn't overly hungry but heard over and over about their OMG CRABBY PRETZEL dish. I must admit- it was OMG AMAZING! This restaurant was not stingy with the crab and it was simply delish! Service was good but they could have used more waitstaff for a weekend brunch rush!“
“Not a bad chicken blt, which is essentially a single layer club but I digress.Also, the lemon cocktail was phenomenal.Parking: If you're coming in on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday evening, take a cab or carpool.While parking is bountiful, the group of 10 friends each driving their own vehicle tends to fill up the lot pretty quickly.If you're ok with spending $8 on a shot, be ok with paying for a round trip in a cab.Be courteous, be safe.“
“Food was great!!! We had the Mahi and the salmon both were cooked and flavored perfectly. The fried brussel sprout appetizer was surprisingly good (and I don't eat brussel sprouts). Nice atmosphere. Fire pit burning out side was also cool. Our waitress, Amanda, was on point and very pleasant. We will definitely spread the word.“
“The atmosphere is awesome. It's not too loud and it's a very laid back environment. The food was amazing, just needed salt. The service was ok. They were prompt at delivering the food but our tiny table was piled with empty plates before the waiter removed them.it wouldn't have been an issue but the tables are quite small. Very nice though. We'll go again. Recommended for pets and kids too.“
