“After stumbling out of a nearby establishment leaving because of bad service. We looked up places for an afternoon beer and food. Found this amazing establishment, walked up the stairs and into the bar and instantly felt at home. Whole staff was topnotch instantly made you feel welcome. If I'm ever staying nearby again in OC, will definitely comeback!“

“We were here on Sunday around 4pm. The place was half full and they also have tables outside that were full. They didn't have soft drinks on the menu, but we asked and a nice girl brought us pink lemonade. She also said that they have soda. I got The Patty Melted burger and my boyfriend got The Cowboy Burger. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this place.“

“My drinking friends and I found this place last summer after we left the bearded clam. We wanted some food and looked at their menu and went in side to try. They were so amazing there and personal. We had delicious orange crushes, and appetizers. Everything we had was wonderful crab dip, Everything crabcakes are good burgers, a good everything. The bartender was excellent and informative about the business. They ended up, giving us a bunch of bumper stickers and sent us on our way, and I definitely will be coming back.!!!“

“The best pit beef sandwich ever ! The French onion soup is delicious , cheesy , broth is rich ., My favorite soup is the clam chowder . I hope they have the clam chowder soup all year . . Only negative the restaurant could use an update .“

“Great and fantastic place. I went there for Bike Week and it was my first time. The staff was kind and music was great. The drink prices were reasonable. I will be back next year for sure. The band Doc Martin and the Flannels are Epic !!! Please please have them there next year those guys ROCK !!!“

“Wow! What a great spot…definitely family friendly. We are locals and remember this as the old Alamo motel. Good use of a many decades old spot. Beats fighting OC traffic as we live in Berlin and almost never go that 6 miles to the beach during summer. We were there today for a special event, but we definitely will be back.“

“Found this gem on the boardwalk. Live music, Great tacos, great drinks and the best bartenders on the beach! Stat, Kyle, Tucker and Derrick really set the vibes at this cool OC boardwalk bar! Also grabbed a hoodie featuring their new logo which features their awesome bartenders on the back. (They were flying off the shelves. You can tell the loyal, local customers really love the staff )It's my new favorite spot. This place can't be beat!“

“Nice place. Food was average and a bit pricey but it's OC so kinda expected that. My only real issue was the manager, she had a real bad attitude especially with the band playing in such a tight space. Nice crowd very friendly bartender. Personally I won't go back just because of the manager who was there on 9/16. Left a real bad impression on me“
