The aguas frescas were yummy, and my husband really enjoyed the horchata! Staff were also very nice. It’s a small family biz and they seem to be figuring things out so I agree with a different review where it’s best to have some patience/understanding with them. “What an absolutely delightful experience. We ordered an Avo Jam sandwich, done with everything bagel. Just the right temperature, the right seasoning and easy on palette for a mid day meal and yet so flavourful. They were extremely kind to offer sampling of baba’s Bucha ( that they have on tap!!!) We also relished a cup of soup du jour ( pumpkin bisque, done in veg stock and not heavy on cream at all). This was paired with a ratatouille panini in rye bread. Superior quality bread with right amount of butter and it did bring bing the subtle magic in mouth bursting from the movie scene. We will be coming back again. And again!“

“Wanted to support local businesses. Bro, look at the size of this cup of large boba. It's huge. Like way bigger than the typical large you see in boba chains.The shop was empty, and I was able to order and get my drink and out the door within 5 minutes. Shop is pretty big with plenty of seating space. Plenty of chairs/counter seats for students to sit and study. Drink is pretty standard. Nothing special. The boba is okay. Drink is good, but way too mango and no lychee taste/flavor to it.“

“Smoothie was okay but lacked flavor. For a place with smoothie in the name I would have expected better. The smoothie size is also massive so undoubtably some of your smoothie will go to waste. I would probably go back because there aren’t that many smoothie options in the area but order something different on the menu.“

“Always a treat to stop in kung fu tea. Located right on the corner of East Main and Academy Street, in Newark on the University of Delaware campus. Today I got a coconut tea with bubbles. Super fast service, and delicious. There's so many things on this menu that I still need to try, everything looks good, if you were coming into Newark and need to park, make sure you use the parking app“

“Lots of selection and customizations available. Got the mixed fruit tea which had passion fruit orange and apple- very refreshing. No mixins allowed on this one as there's already lots of fruit. Also got taro with coconut jelly, or nata de coco. The taro was the chunky kind and they did warn me. I wasn't a huge fan of this one. Can customize sugar level. This is a kiosk in the mall and I'd be back next time I'm at the mall.“

“Tbaar was a great impromptu find for a cafe work day. They were one of the only places open after the holiday.They had great boba tea, and glad that they were able to make it hot since it was a cold day. I also had the egg & cheese crepe, which was a delicious option. Very well made & yummy?“
