“Love this place! Cleaned up the constant mess from the prior regime and brought in great people to change the scene. Service is always excellent, can’t beat Sunday Ticket for football, and always great drink selections. No other place like it in Middletown.“
“Not a bad little dive bar. They have a nice selection of craft beer, Jackie (the bartender) was really nice and said that if there was a beer that I wanted, and they didn't have it, she could order it for me. They don't sell food, but they have a Capriottis a few shops down in the same plaza, and a ton of other places close by that you can order from.“

“My husband and I have lived in Galena MD for over 25 years and we have never heard of Double Tap and one of our friends ask us to go there recently and we got directions and figured it was going to be a place with a few people there since it is in the corn field, imagine our surprise when we turned that corner and that place was lit up like a Christmas tree with like 50 cars already in the parking lot this gem of a place was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was awesome and the people were just so nice. The food was amazing and my husband couldn't stop talking about his Crab cake it was the best he ever had and I had the steam shrimp and it was amazing. This is our new favorite place. “Looks like a dive bar. Clientele appears all local. We came on a Wednesday night where they have the steamed shrimp special. Place was packed. People filed in quickly ate and left knowing exactly what they were doing. Our server Nancy who is a nurse by profession during the day has been working there for 46 years! She has super powers! As we were trying to figure out the place she just appeared! Our drinks and orders came quickly. Beer on tap was chilled perfectly in a frosted mug and tasted fresh. The shrimp was fantastic the mahi bites tender and the Lima bean soup full of flavor. We even were lucky enough to get soft shelled crab. The strategic mistake we made was not to inquire about fresh oysters first as we were distracted by the shrimp special. We were already full by the time we found out. Next time! We didn’t even look at the menu.“
“I had alot of fun in there wish I could have stayed longer but the crew I was with had to leave..My step daughter works there and she's the best her name is Carley..shes a great bartender and very well liked from everyone that goes in there! “Food was good but not sure I can say it matched the price point, our quality of service also didn’t quite match the price point.Atmosphere description: A nicely remodeled, but extremely small space with a total of less than 12 tables in the dining area, I believe.Overall experience: A crammed space, that is overpriced for the atmosphere and service, with some good food to make you say, ehhh it wasn’t that bad I guess.Pictured dish: $40 - Seafood Fra-Diablo (which was missing listed menu items such as clams and mussels, that my server failed to tell me about ahead of time.)“
