“First visit was today but we will definitely be back. Great vegetarian options as well as plenty of meat and seafood dishes on their extensive menu. Our veg pakoras arrived piping hot and crispy, and our paneer tikka masala was very flavorful even at the mild spice level. Garlic naan was perfect. Service was excellent. All in all we had a wonderful lunch today and we can't wait to return for dinner.”

“I’m not too adventurous with beers, but there are a couple here that I like. My wife and I come here for lunch/dinner and the chefs do a great job. I recently tried their pimento cheese burger - it was fresh, juicy, and melty goodness. The cheese board appetizer was simple and delicious, and my wife liked her chicken pasta. It’s a cool place for family, dates, and single folks alike since there are plenty of tables, a nice outdoor patio, and an extremely long bar.”

“Cute little place. Bring your pets and kids....and food too if you wish. We came on a Saturday and they had an awesome band called Stone Jack Ballers. They have corn hole every other Friday nights. Good drinks and friendly environment. ​”

“We got a square pizza and the rice ball. Everything was delicious. The pizza was amazing. Crust was perfect. Cheese was top of the line. Sauce very good.The rice ball was great too. It was definitely risotto, and it was cooked perfectly, great place. We’ll go back for sure.”

“Service was great, but the tables were sticky and it was pretty packed. Bathrooms could have used some cleaning. The chicken tenders were extremely over cooked, but I got fish and chips and that was really good. My date and I had a good time, and we both really enjoyed the calamari. The bacon wrapped scallops were very tasty too.”

“My wife and I have been here several times and we’ve always been happy with the food and service. Recently we had a reservation on 4/6/24 and had the honor of meeting Ananda H. Ananda was our server and she was great. My wife and I ordered some drinks and fried green tomatoes to start. The fried green tomatoes are by far the best we have ever had. We’ve been to Savannah, Georgia many times and their fried green tomatoes were the best, until we had the ones at 1861. My wife decided on getting the salmon and switched out the rice for the mashed potatoes and vegetables. She kept saying how good it was and kept raving about the glaze on it. I took a bite or two and totally agreed. I went with the special of the day which was the lamb burger with goat cheese. I’m very glad I made that decision. It was perfectly cooked and I couldn’t find anything wrong with it. If you’re looking to find a fault or something you would do differently but can’t, it’s a great sign of how good the food is. I couldn’t find anything wrong with anything. Service, food, and atmosphere were perfect. Thank you Ananda and 1861 for making our date night perfect.”

“After a delay in opening we finally got to visit. Phenomenal crab cakes. Very reasonable prices. Speedy, kind service. Owner John even came out to make sure we liked the food see and see if we needed anything at all. Down to earth and Very casual attire place. Dine in option. Fabulous deserts. The booths were even comfortable. Highly recommend.”

“This is the best sushi I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten sushi all over the world. Even in Japan, Okinawa, and Hawaii. We had rolls: the pink lady was incredible. Others, I cant Remember. Sashimi: huge pieces… HUGE. Not a fishy smell or taste anywhere. Sushi: white tuna melted in my mouth. Yellow tail: same, amazing! Salmon: delicious.2 very small glitches: I got a salmon skin hand roll. It was spicy. And I’ve never had a spicy one before usually they’re a little sweet. Now I know next time to ask for it mild. And, we got there early. And the waitress got a little busy towards the end and it was a little bit of a struggle to get our check as fast as we wanted to. But we still Tipped her 25%. She was amazing in every way. I will go back to this place over and over.And I’ll take my family. Because they love great sushi! Check this place out!”

“This is a great place to stop by to pick up some wings or ribs for dinner, or snack on during a football game. Besides the typical BBQ items, they also offer fried chicken, grilled kielbasa, and steak fries. What we prefer to do is to pick up their plain fried wings, and toss it to our own sauce to our liking. You'll have to plan your trip though, as they're only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Also, be patient, as there's typically a line waiting to be served.”

“This is the only real Jamaican restaurant in the area. The food is tasty with a full rich flavor. I’m Jamaican and I cook. Time and care is put into the quality and flavor of the food. Every restaurant may have its moments where something isn’t perfect. In comparison to other choices, this restaurant is my only go to for real island home cooking when I don’t feel like cooking.”
