“UPDATE: 2024 - Food Quality still awesome! We got the "grandma's pizza" and unfortunately it was overdone. They made us a new one and were genuinely concerned on us enjoying the food. Mind you, this was done after it was delivered and they'd already closed. It was EXCELLENT the time! BTW, if you're wondering its a Sicilian margarita pizza with the texture of tomato pie. REALLY GOOD! Also, El Pastor is a another big hit!

When we moved to the area, our neighbors recommended this little place. They are my top place to go to for pizza. Recommend trying the margarita pizza, its way better than Ninos! Wings are yummy too, nice and meaty. Be warned the mild, isnt mild but still is flavorful.

In honesty, their pasta game is okay. I'd say Porto Finos for burgers and pasta, then 3 coutries for pizza.”

“Vegetarian options: No! Not I’ve seen! I just love their chicken it has become a necessity. I was getting everyday, and I’m not over exaggerating when they say everyday. There were days I would be there it would be my 3rd visit. That before,I still go as often as I can, it’s just the money is not there!!

Dietary restrictions: I love their chicken!! I’m afraid you will find anything there that will stir clear from any of the restrictions. So if you need to control you cholesterol or your sodium intake. I highly suggest you pay Salad Works a visit!!

Parking: There’s free parking spaces that consists of one single strip the length of the strip that had an out 15-20 businesses in the strip.That is crowded every say all day! Yes! There’s free parking but available parking practically not existent.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely friendly!! However, it’s not a very but place! I don’t mind taken my grandkids there but there’s not a lot of room you can barely move but people. So no the side of caution, you’re not in there’s very long! I suggest not to bring kids of you can help! Just to be safe,not sorry!!

Wheelchair accessibility: To cross the threshold of the business I would say yes it is accessible. However, to navigate from the parking lot to the business, I’d have to say no! I never really took notice but I don’t recall seeing a ramp or flattened area to get to businesses in the plaza! I’m not 100% certain, there’s no accessible section for a wheelchair, If there’s a way then it would be at the opposite end of the strip. New York Fried Chicken is at the end of the strip.”

“Sunset Subs and Steaks is our favorite spot whenever we travel from New Jersey to Delaware. We always make it a point to stop here. They have the best cheesesteaks in town, packed with meat, cheese, and perfectly grilled.

This time, we decided to stop for breakfast. We ordered two egg and cheese wraps with mushrooms and our favorite sauce, Boom Boom. This sauce is a delicious mix of peppers and garlic that will take you straight to heaven if you like spicy flavors. The wraps were loaded with mushrooms, and the eggs were perfectly cooked and never dry.

Listening to the owner’s suggestions is always a good idea; he really knows what he’s talking about. We appreciate that everything is fresh, of high quality, and clearly made with love. This family-owned business is dedicated to serving the community’s needs, and it shows.

“While I like most of Stoltzfus’s items, I’ve been disappointed in their chicken salad. It used to be a staple in our home but seems like they’ve changed the recipe. It’s now so runny with mayo (or whatever they use) that it plops right off our sandwiches. They’ve also seem to cut back on the celery which added a nice contrasting crunch. Please bring back the old recipe.”

Get drinks and chips at wawa and the store on rt40 seems to have better service and food. It's good food and today it's hard to find so enjoy yourself and get a Bobby!”

“This establishment is highly accommodating to vegans such as I with their delicious hot chocolate at no extra cost to bear plant milk (unlike some of those unethical large chains). That lead to an enriching conversation between Christian and I. Their wide variety of coffee flavors also gave me a delightful breakfast flavor this morning with their Smores-flavored brew.”

“The New Castle Farmer's Market was one of those places early on I was eyeing to check out when I moved out to Delaware. This especially includes the whole wing that is Stoltzfus' different shops. For my first time here, I decided to have some breakfast as the market opened.
Being a sausage sandwich shop, I was definitely expecting some sort of breakfast offering. This is something they definitely offer in addition to a lunch menu. For that morning, I had their breakfast special which is a sausage with egg...and optionally cheese, onions and peppers...on a sausage roll, served with a hashbrown and drink for around $10. You can also choose between a mild sausage and a spicy one; given how hit-and-miss sausage can be for me, I stuck with mild.
The sausage was well-cooked, juicy and just about the right about of snap from the casing and the eggs were fluffy and fresh...but maybe needs a little bit of salt to taste. The roll does a great job holding up the sausage and fixings. The only shortfall was that the hashbrown was a little greasy and perhaps a little small for a side; won't hold it against them that much as hashbrowns aren't the easiest form of potato to keep grease-free.
There is a sitting area behind their stand behind Stoltzfus' bakery stand so you can sit and enjoy that sausage or their other fare including other breakfast dishes. The atmosphere...it's a Farmer's Market so I don’t over think it. It simple yet functional and feels like how a market stall should.
I might come by for their lunch menu sometime (which I believe is served from when the market opens except on Sunday when the Stoltzfus stalls are closed). But for breakfast, definitely give them a try. Pro tip: be sure to pick up a pint of juice from the nearby juice counter for breakfast.

Parking: As part of the New Castle Farmer's Market, there's a very big parking lot with plenty of spaces to park. This includes spaces for those physically challenged. The doors are also automatic so access is also not a problem.”

“We randomly stopped at the New Castle Farmers Market on a drive elsewhere and randomly happened upon Los Jarritos and thought it was some of the best authentic Mexican we’ve had on the east coast (don’t you love it when that happens?).

We split a burrito with pork and green sauce and a chicken tamal. The burrito was better than the tamal but we still thoroughly enjoyed both.

The pork in the burrito was exceptional - and the red and green hot sauces were an ideal complement.

Chips and salsa were also delicious - can’t tell if they were included or not but our total bill including a Mexican coke was less than $16.

Stopping at this flea market felt like a portal to another world for us out-of-towners, but we enjoyed the experience and would happily go back to Los Jarritos.”

After this engaging conversation, I all the more wanted to buy at least one thing from the store (I hate to go into a small store and not buy anything). Initially, I couldn´t find anything that met my particular interests. Then, I came across a Qing dynasty coin, which I happily bought. I hope this store offers more foreign currency in the future.”

“My husband and I have been here a few times for his pool League. The barmaid Shelly is very friendly. She was very helpful with recommendations from the menu. We've had the chicken cheese steak, chicken tenders, and hamburger. My favorite is the grilled chicken salad. It's generously sized and topped with an entire chicken breast. The chicken is very tender. The fries are delicious as well.*** They add a 3-4% (can't remember the exact amount) fee for credit card payments. They do not allow tips on credit cards. TIPS ARE CASH ONLY. Although this can be a bit of an inconvenience, we make sure to bring cash.
