First time there and was impressed. My only complaint would be the Hookah bar. When you first walk in you are bombarded with smoke. But they do a good job of sealing it off from the restaurant area. Food was delicious and you get a huge amount for a reasonable price.
Road-stupid from the drive up from Raleigh, we decided to pick up dinner from Ali Baba on the way to our hotel. Best. Decision. Ever. The dajaj Mashwy was packed so it stayed hot and turned out to be a delicious treat. The vegetarian platter was amazing, especially the babaganush. We have enough for dinner when we arrive home tomorrow. That, or the housekeeper will have a lunch treat because we have again forgotten to take it from the little refrigerator. Lucky housekeeper. The food was excellent and the staff was so welcoming! Their food reminded me of many of the dishes I would eat growing up; the ingredients were fresh and everything was so delicious. If you love good quality and authentic middle eastern cuisine, this place is absolutely worth it!
