The food was excellent and the staff was so welcoming! Their food reminded me of many of the dishes I would eat growing up; the ingredients were fresh and everything was so delicious. If you love good quality and authentic middle eastern cuisine, this place is absolutely worth it!

I've been here a couple times, and it's never really bad, the wait can be kinda long for servers. But last night I went with my sister and friend to do hookah, drinks, a lil food, and I am a little upset with the service. They're nice, but forgot about us for long periods of time about two or three times. They even forgot about us when it wasn't that busy, but got worse when it did get busy. We determined to cut our experience short (we did want to do one more round of hookah and drinks), but they never came so we went up to the desk to get the check. The food is not really worth the money in my opinion, I had better food for less at other places. It was good at first, but I am upset with my overall experience.

First time there and was impressed. My only complaint would be the Hookah bar. When you first walk in you are bombarded with smoke. But they do a good job of sealing it off from the restaurant area. Food was delicious and you get a huge amount for a reasonable price.

Grabbed a couple chicken kebabs and hummus for dinner. Everything was great and will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
Road-stupid from the drive up from Raleigh, we decided to pick up dinner from Ali Baba on the way to our hotel. Best. Decision. Ever. The dajaj Mashwy was packed so it stayed hot and turned out to be a delicious treat. The vegetarian platter was amazing, especially the babaganush. We have enough for dinner when we arrive home tomorrow. That, or the housekeeper will have a lunch treat because we have again forgotten to take it from the little refrigerator. Lucky housekeeper. We pass through Newark at least twice per year. There is no question where we will eat from now on.

I LOOOOVE the food here. It’s truely my favorite. The Moroccan chicken is something to write home about. DELICIOUS! I also love the samosa chicken, the alibaba salad, the green salad, allllll of the Kabobs… I can go on and on. Please try this place. I also enjoy hookah and they always prepare the hookah perfectly! Tastes great and smokes well!

I went here Sat 1/27/24 for my B-day dinner and I have eaten at many of restaurants in my life time.....This restaurant was so Delectable, positive energy and vibes and the food was like no other. We were a party of 4 and had over $115 wot of food and had dinner for the next day. I truly see why ALI BABA has won so many hearts over there food.
