We came all the way from PA. We called constantly for an hr but their phone was not working. It seemed like they purposely disconnected the line for the moment. We reached there 38 mins earlier than their closing time but they refused to take our order stating that they have "no food" left. Horrible service. Their sign of being OPEN was still on. The least they can do is have a working phone so customers who have questions or who are coming from far don't have to face any trouble. And was told at the counter that owner said do not take anymore orders. Sunday march 3rd.

This is hands down the best take out spot in Newark. This place checks every box. Excellent food across the entire menu, reasonable prices, great portion sizes, and very friendly staff. The NY Style Lamb Gyro is my go to comfort food, and I am always greeted with a welcoming smile from the guys in the kitchen when I come in. Highly recommend!

The hospitality and pleasant demeanor of the man who took my order would deserve five stars in and of itself. But the food was great as well! It’s not too often that someone says “thank you for giving me the OPPORTUNITY to serve you food today”. Great little spot, and a very rare level of genuine customer service.
