“Looks like a dive bar. Clientele appears all local. We came on a Wednesday night where they have the steamed shrimp special. Place was packed. People filed in quickly ate and left knowing exactly what they were doing. Our server Nancy who is a nurse by profession during the day has been working there for 46 years! She has super powers! As we were trying to figure out the place she just appeared! Our drinks and orders came quickly. Beer on tap was chilled perfectly in a frosted mug and tasted fresh. The shrimp was fantastic the mahi bites tender and the Lima bean soup full of flavor. We even were lucky enough to get soft shelled crab. The strategic mistake we made was not to inquire about fresh oysters first as we were distracted by the shrimp special. We were already full by the time we found out. Next time! We didn’t even look at the menu.”

“Absolutely the best gyro place I’ve ever had in my life. Middletown is not at all known for its food, most places around here now are chains and franchises. One thing they all have it common is the food is just blah. Delaware Gyro knows flavor, and it shows. Their food leaves me with a smile on my face everytime. Thank you for being amazing guys!”

“The empanadas/pastelitos are hearty, full flavored with an almost flakey crust that’s perfectly deep fried. When I say hearty, you get your money’s worth as these are packed with meat and not small in size!!! The pricing is on point and the service is great!!!An impressive spot in the heart of Salem!I highly recommend this gem of authentic Puerto Rican food that will have you wanting to return for more. “Right in the middle of high street Middletown is a prime spot to get an afternoon ice cream. This Häagen-Dazs shop is the perfect place to grab a treat with a friend or loved one. If you catch it the right time “right now” ? you can get that good pumpkin spice milkshake. It’s like drinking a pumpkin pie.”

“I visited Jessop's on a recommendation from another beer connoisseur and was not disappointed. The draft beer list was excellent, mostly Belgian beers with a few UK, German, and American crafts thrown in. They have a full bar, and plenty of cider and wine offerings for anyone who may not like beer. My wife liked the bloody mary, which was nice and spicy.The bar is not that large, so try to time your visit or get a reservation for a dining table. New Castle has very few restaurants, so it can get busy, especially on a nice weekend.We did not eat here, so this review is strictly based on the beer selection and bar service- both of which were excellent.The ambiance is great, feels like stepping back in time. The bar is very social and the bartender Jess was very welcoming and friendly.If you like beer, make sure Jessup's Tavern is on your list to visit!”

“As someone who loves dessert, I wanted to have something extra for our wedding. I also thought the idea of a food truck at a wedding was a lot of fun. I came across Gotta Lotta Gelata. My now-husband and I went to try some flavors with Petra and brought a few pints home, which disappeared pretty quickly. Having the Gotta Lotta Gelata truck come to our wedding was definitely a highlight. Everyone loved it and it helped make our wedding memorable. Petra is great to work with as well!”

She was patient & informative.The food was good but my only complaint is that you can't order the potato greens w/out meat. If you are a meat lover these greens are for you.My family really liked the pounded yams Egusi special with goat (just remembered lots of bones in this dish) First time trying fufu & it was ok but not my favorite item.”

All were flavorful and as good as we have had in both Bangkok and Ching Mai.Service: the young man who was our server was friendly, responsive and gave good recommendations. He maintained his good demeanor even though he was the only person out front - doing pickup order as well as managing the dining room.Bad:Ambience: the place is kind of dumpy. A coat of paint and better wall hangings would really helpLocation: hard to find. No sign. It is in-between a liquor store and a soon to open sushi place. Very close to the Sav-a-lot. They really should get a proper sign.Overall, 5-stars b/c they excel at what matters (food and service)”

“I met the owner and he seems like a down to earth good guy. He told me that I wouldn't be disappointed with the rib platters I ordered. Well the ribs were on point and I didn't need any sauce. Ribs were not par boiled and smoked very well. I will definitely be back and tell others about ”

“Warm and friendly environment. All the food is freshly prepared, home cooking with a flair. The baked goods are plentiful and delicious. I drive 2 hours to go to this hidden gem. Caleb brews the best latte, coffee and hot beverages so save room for a speciality drink and some dessert. Not feeling well? Talk to Kim, the owner and she can put together some teas to fix what ails you. They also cater and sell cookie trays. Their prices are incredibly low considering the fresh ingredients.”

“Great place to come eat all kinds of halal fast food. You also have the option for desi delights(Biryani and kheer).Abu Bakr was a great host! We tried their chicken pizza and kheer which was really good. Overall great experience.”

“This is by far my favorite place for tacos! The Chorizo tacos are my favorite, spicy but not overpowering. So yummy, the younger girl that works there is always so sweet! & the guy with the spider tattoo on his elbow is also so nice!”
