Best part of this hotel is location! Beautiful view of the ocean, boardwalk. The hotel needs a good scrubbing, carpeting is worn and tattered. Gnats annoyingly flying around. For $200/night, stay elsewhere and drive to the boardwalk!! We were disappointed.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel to my worst enemy. The rooms were disgusting and clearly had not been cared for in any way in a long, long time. We saw cockroaches running in the lobby of the hotel. There was a dark stain in our mattress that was visible through the sheets that looked a lot like blood, but I am unable to say for sure if that's what it was. There were multiple stains on the wall that were extremely unpleasant. We were at the hotel with other friends staying in different rooms, and everyone had some variation of this experience and was unhappy with the stay. This does not even factor in the ABSURD price this hotel charged for our stay. I tried to call the hotel to discuss the conditions and how the service advertised is not even remotely close to what the hotel offers, but unsurprisingly I never received a call back from the General Manager. If you care remotely about cleanliness, and have some self respect, I would highly recommend you avoid this hotel!

We were there in July 2022, thought I wrote a review already. The rooms were clean and just steps from the beach, of course. I would visit again. There were many choices for food at a walking distance, not just typical boardwalk food.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. From some Of the other reviews I was expecting a slightly shabby, slightly depressing place. This is not a luxury hotel or new but I found it to be comfortable, nicely updated. Our room was spacious and refreshed with new carpet, paint, furniture etc. it was also clean. the pool and restos adjcent were great and staff friendly and accommodating. I love that I could order adult beverages and food to eat and enjoy at the pool. Our 2 year old daughter had an absolute blast. This place is pricey during season high but the location is amazing. I’ll come back with my family for another stay. We had a great time!

I would highly recommend Atlantic Sands Hotel. The beach acces is amazing (First floor is awesome because you don't have to wait for the elevator) and it is so close to Rehoboth Ave just a nice little walk through the neighborhood behind the hotel. The night of check in there were a couple things that needed addressed. I told front desk agent about it and she documented it. The GM was aware of it the next morning when I came to talk to him. This is good communication and I appreciated that they didn't shy away from my concerns. The GM is Craig Galeane and he was amazing. He addressed the situation and made the appropriate changes. It was my birthday trip and he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

I reserved a queen suite south for 2 nights. I booked directly through the hotel and paid the standard rate. The rooms were fiercely small. I’m certain the beds were full-size, not queen-size. The decor was dated and so old, I’m not sure if it was 60’s or 70’s?? The carpet was worn and needs to be replaced. I was actually afraid to walk around in the room without shoes or socks on my feet. I took a couple of photos of the dirt and unsanitary conditions that exist in plain sight. The evening staff (at check-in) were the most personality-less (is there such a word??) I’ve ever attempted to interact with. The elevator goes down to the basement level parking area and can be accessed without a hotel key. Anyone off the street can enter the hotel through the elevator. There might have been security somewhere around, but I didn’t observe any. In all honesty, the only thing favorable about the Atlantic Sands is the location. It really is a couple of minutes from the beach. There is nothing g at all luxurious or even fancy about the Atlantic Sands!

I’ve been coming to Rehoboth on and off for 40 years. I’ve always wanted to stay here and finally did. The Atlantic Sands is a boardwalk hotel just steps from the sand! It is close enough to restaurants and entertainment yet far enough that it isn’t too busy. The team led by Craig knows how to take care of their guests! We will be back!

Rooms were comfy and clean. Nice pool with drink service. Great location! Titki bar and restaurant but have the same menu so why have 2? Great restaurants within walking distance. Nice staff. Get a room with a balcony for great views! Lobby is bare and needs some reno. A/C works in rooms but not hallways. Little pricey but great beach vacation!

I happened to love this place. It was a beachy town hotel. Located on the boardwalk in Rehobeth Beach. Next to food, beaches and attractions. Great location. Had a pool, restaurant, and great view of ocean from balcony.

This is a run down place and noisy. Noisy. Anyone can enter the building at night as the elevator in the garage is not keyed. Just come in—go to the second floor and use the restrooms there, maybe even sleep in a corner….The wallpaper in the hallways is scraped and banged up . The hallways are very narrow. There’s a vicious threshold at the door to the room that trips you. It’s not the hotel’s fault but there were 5, 7 to 12 ish year old boys running in the halls near our room until about 11pm. The noise from the pool which is on the ocean view side of the building travels up. And into the room. The rooms there should have better sound-proofing windows….And right outside our door 2 employees with hand held radios on speakers were discussing a security issue at 11:30ish PM. This stopped quickly or I would have had to intervene. Our room was $400 a night to get the ocean view….There is no where to sit in the lobby. I won’t stay there again.

Looking for a beachfront hotel in June for a 3 nights getaway at Rehoboth Beach after the Fourth of July. Excited to get thru to Atlantic Sand reservations and was told there is a room left at top floor corner unit which has 2 balcony and beach facing. I was willing to pay 1400 for the three nights due to short notice and Holiday season. Great thing about this hotel is free parking and right off the boardwalk. Once walked into the room, realized that the ocean facing balcony is slightly more than a foot deep, pool side balcony is just wide enough to place two chairs facing each other with no room to spare. Icing on cake, the sliding door was ready to come off the track. Bathroom door is 11/2 to 2 ft wide. Bathroom fixtures are beyond aging with peeling wall paper and warping ceiling tiles. Bed is extremely uncomfortable and room has no decor to speak of. Even caught a couple fling bugs. Personally I don’t believe the room should be suited for any guest. Understand one side of the hotel was renovated and mine was not. We paid for the three night but cannot take it after the first night and we left.

My wife and I woke up early and went to Starbucks, walked the boardwalk, and played some arcade games. Got back to the room BEFORE check out and housekeeping had made up our room, threw away some of our toiletries, took some clothes on the bed, and threw away all my food(crab cake/hushpuppies to take home) in the fridge. I even had the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on the door. Went to front desk to check out and asked for the manager and was told manager was away (why would the manager be away at check out time? Isn't that the most important time to be a "manager"???) . They said the manager would call. He never did. I called back that night when I got home and was told manager would be told again. It's 2 days later and manger CRAIG has never called me. NOBODY has called. I noticed another review mentioned housekeeping coming into the room BEFORE checkout and the DO NOT DISTURB sign being on the door. I guess they still haven't trained housekeeping about what time it is.
